COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
After brewing and fermentation, Ch'Ti beers is kept for long weeks in storage tanks. In the calm and cool (0°C) environment, the beer matures, develops a finer taste, perfects its aroma and acquires its natural and characteristic sparkles. It is here also that the beer obtains its balance, finesse and gleam.

Bottle. A clear one, with a dense white head of moderate size. Some alcohol in the aroma, with sugary malts and a generic fruityness. Pine cone notes. It’s quite dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Fruits, white sugar notes, a fine bitterness and some spiced, peppery notes in the flavor. Lasting fruity finish with a nice bitterness. A pretty nice one, although not up there with the best. 140510

330ml bottle from Charter Mall, Changchun, China. Pours a deep golden orange with a generous head. Some peach in the aroma. Light and easy drinking for 7.5%. Nice.

Aromat raczej słaby. Piwo mocno nagazowane, CO2 szczypie w język. W smaku niemal identyczne do wersji zwykłej. Ciekawe słodowy aromat oraz wspomniane spore nagazowanie całkiem nieźle przykrywa większą dawkę alkoholu.

33cl pullo, BBE 13/04/17. Nopea ja iso vaahto, oranssisen kuulas väri. Tuoksu alkoholisen hapokas, Suutuntuma omatekoisen omenaviinin kaltainen, lämmittävä alkoholi, kuohuva, hapokas,

Bière puissante et complexe, elle a une belle robe rose-oranger que je n’avais jamais vu. Petite mousse blanche qui devient une dentelle fragile sur la surface intérieure du verre. Jolie découverte!

I don’t really get the lower rating for this one. Compared to other Castelain’s Ch’ti beers, this one was perhaps the best of the lot, a bit more classic and aggressive than the others for some, but clearly a good drink. A pretty correct Biere de Grade all over, interesting abv and a nice taste in mouth. Alcohol is quite present but not overwhelming. A quite good drink. APPROVED BY TAVERNY’S BLACK METAL CREW!

Duft av forskjellige frukter deriblandt aprikos. Dunkel gulbrun farge. Lite skum, tynn hinne. Fin smak av aprikos og noe honning.

Bottle from a French supermarket. Pours golden with a frothy white head. The taste is bitter and spicy. A little caramel in the background. Quite a nice mouthfeel. Not bad.

En bouteille de 33 cl. Belle couleur orange. Mousse retombant assez vite mais le nez est intéressant avec des senteurs de fruit, d’orange. On sent l’alcool et celui-ci apparait aussi dans la dégustation qui réunit les mêmes goûts que dans les arômes. Pas mal !

A decent tripel. Aromas mostly of candied sugar and peaches. Nice well balanced mouth feel. Tastes are as complexe as I had hoped.
