Not a tripel, malty with darkish Amber pour. Not great, paulaner is better, why the comparison? Ask Dan. anders37 (26641) - Malmö, SWEDEN - AUG 21, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small longlasting white head. Has a fruity malty grainy weak grassy aroma. Sweetish malty spicy grainy weak yeasty flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy yeasty finish. jmgreenuk (9452) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - SEP 30, 2013
Bottle shared with and courtesy of Deanso. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is yeasty with a little malt. The flavour is medium bitter, yeast, malt, woody. Not a great Tripel but not as bad as others seen to think IMO. thirstyrabbit (1849) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 24, 2013
Small bottle. Bright golden body (pilsner golden). Aroma has dry grassy hops and some honey. Sweetish malty taste. Not resembling an Abbey Tripel at all, hence the low "style" rating here IMO. More like a Biere de Garde. Mildly bitter hops and some alcohol in the finish. Falls in the everdeepening pit of "drinkable but not great" beers.

Large slightly coarse offwhite head. Clear amber body with light
carbonation. Spicy herbal grassy aroma is quite faint. Dryish grassy
fruity taste with mealy oily notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft
mouthfeel. Dryish spicy strawy aftertaste with dusty fruity notes.
It’s OK, but kind of boring. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly web
order.) Holmen2 (3642) - NORWAY - APR 12, 2014
Clear golden. Large and dense off-white head and lacing. Sightly hoppy aroma of lavendel soap, yeast and spices. Similar taste. Cardboard and almonds in taste and mouthfeel. Geokkjer (7627) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 16, 2014

Bottle. Pours a clear amber-golden body with a medium white head. Nose is candi sugars, banana, straw and hints of caramel and grains. Taste is caramel, candi sugars, banana, straw and hints of white bubble gum. Medium body and carbonation. Fair enough, but a bit generic amber Belgian ale all in all.
