Can 50 cl. Courtesy of jaghana. pours amber with a sligh haze and an off-white head. Very sweet caramellish nose. Solid body, heavy malt base, some caramel and fruit with a boozy finish. Some late hops too. Not the worst way to get loaded. 311011

33cl bottle from Terre de Boissons, Calais. Clear amber lasting white head. It’s pretty good. Drinkable 8% beer, bit of mustiness bit of oxidisation. Otherwise it’s fine. I’d have gone with strong French biere de garde, but didn’t know it was a lager. And wouldn’t taste it. might be an older bottle hence the oxidisation. Fine, it’s ok.

Clear copper-amber color, small steady beige head. Sweet honeyish, fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweet riped apple and peach. Quite Leffe-like in flavor although it is classified as a strong lager.
