33cl bottle from Terre de Boissons, Calais. Clear amber lasting white head. It’s pretty good. Drinkable 8% beer, bit of mustiness bit of oxidisation. Otherwise it’s fine. I’d have gone with strong French biere de garde, but didn’t know it was a lager. And wouldn’t taste it. might be an older bottle hence the oxidisation. Fine, it’s ok.

Bonus decorum +2

Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - OCT 28, 2010
canned; from Mondial de la Bière 2010, Strasbourg - clear and bright amber colour, no foam left; aroma of chewy malts, corn and alcohol; very sweet and full-bodied, some late tartness and a low bitterness; the finish is fruity and corny with some residual sugars - acceptable

Canned. Amber coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Aroma of sweetness, fruits, grass. Flavour of grass, fruits, some spice and caramel. Meidum bodied. Dry fruity end.

Calisky (2915) - ALSACE, FRANCE - DEC 26, 2016
UPDATED: MAY 9, 2017 Couleur cuivrée, légère mousse.

Clear copper-amber color, small steady beige head. Sweet honeyish, fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweet riped apple and peach. Quite Leffe-like in flavor although it is classified as a strong lager.

On tap-clear golden with small white head. Strong orangey alcoholic aroma. Ok mouthfeel - strong alcoholic tasting. ok for a stray beer.
