Replaced by Maltesse Triple, brewed with a different yeast and hop variety.

Bottle. Clear golden body with a small white head. Light malty aroma with fruity and light spicy notes. Mainly malty flavour with some spices and light fruit. Medium palate. Ends up light alcoholic.

Appearance: Clear amber gold with medium white top. Visible carbonation.
Nose Light , straight forward pale malts , grainy end with little alcohol burn.
Flavor/Palate : Plenty of initial carbonation. More of clean , straight malts. Sweet, lightly malted but not thin. Midlle class Mocne from France.

50cl can from Leclerc. Amber with a thin off-white head that rapidly faded; sweet honey and apple aromas; full-bodied, malty and rather sweet, with an alcohol burn to the finish, leaving a very sticky mouth-feel. Not pleasant.

jaghana (6367) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - AUG 27, 2010
Bottle 75cl at Galeries Gourmandes Strasbourg. A clear yellow beer with very nice head and good lacing, carbonation is high. Smell is very hopy even dry hoping. Aroma is quite sweet, very malty and quite bitter, nice hops bouquet there is definitely dry hoping on this beer. Very difficult to detect that it was done with a lower yeast, finish is a bit abrupt with a spicy hops bitterness. Good beer, good body, pleasant but high in alcohol.

Mondiale 08. Pours a bland pale gold with a fizzy soda like head to nothing. Aroma is straight up DMS and acetaldehyde and raw uncooked malt extract- honey and too sweet- corny. Flavor is grassy, thick syrupy sweet malts, rice, liquid malt extract twang, corn grits, DMS and green apple skin which just made me feel like I was getting a headache as I drank this swill- gross.

jbrus (4988) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - MAY 31, 2008
[email protected] Light malty aroma with hints of citrus and apple. Yellow color, white head, good lace. Malty, hint of citrus, laurel, pretty bitter. Bitterness is a bit nasty but not too much.

RichardGretton (4863) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 15, 2008
Bottle. Golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is warmly lightly spiced, and the flavour is spiced and warmly vinous. Overall a standard tasting belgian style beer.

KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - APR 22, 2010
Corked bottle from Auchan, Marne La Valle, France.
Pours a decent cloudy cheddar orange with a head that settles into what appears to be mold spore colonies atop the brew. Aroma is honey and orange, with a touch of sweet bread and carrot soup. Flavor is a dull, buttery vegetable honey with a finish of light honey biscuit and over-ripened orange. Watery on the tongue. Not bad, but one is sufficient.

Brandman (2964) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 8, 2012
Clear redish coppery body, white head. Aroma is caramelly malty with some medicinal and fruity hops. Flavour is strong malt, alcohol, berries and some yeast when warms up. Much alcohol.
