Craig on Heat Tasting at ChrisO’s. Almost clear gold beer, fluffy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and light. Modest fine carbonation. Sugary sweetness in the airy malt. Some floralness and candy fruits. Smooth light finish. A bit sweet, even for me.

Bottle shared at chriso’s. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Sugary pale bread nose, white sugar, hay, tangy citrus. Medium to big sweet flavour, some melon, white grape, tangerine, white bread, mild yeast. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, a little boozy, with more melon, white grape. I actually like it.

Bottle at Chriso going Dutch tasting, 03/07/14. Ever so lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white swirl and edgeing. Nose is toffee, dark fruits, spice, pear skins, light nail polish, boozey tones. Taste comprises malty notes, spice, bready, caramel, hint of vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonatin, semi drying close with sweet pangs. So so.

TBone (17565) - Pori, FINLAND - JAN 16, 2014
Bottle 750ml (Saveur)
Clear deep honey-golden color, small steady white head. Berryish aroma of a bit tart marmalade. Medium-bodied. Sweetish and berryish flavor with some grassy hoppyness. Sweetness covers the most of alcohol but it is there underlying. Simple, sweet and even a bit rough.

330ml bottle (Drink Shop, Tallinn)
Far from clean aroma, a bit messed up. Simple sweet malts, some spiky esters, some alcoholic vapours too. Very sweet. Rich gold, thin fizzy-to-tight head, actively carbonated. Sweet, a bit corny. Not unpleasant once you’re past the sweetness. Strange fatty hops in the finish. Very much not a good Belgian strong, but not giving me reason to hate it. Not gonna bin it, but not gonna savour it either. Meh.

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Some tripple licorice notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s mid-week lasting 03/07/14. Clear golden / straw coloured pour with a alsting white head. Aroma is big belgian yeast, straw, sweet base malts. Flavour is pale malts, somewhat sweet, under fermented. Some oxidation, carboard. Palate is tingling carbonation, semi- sweet. Not great.
