Not bad. A very enjoyable Strong Lager, well set on its way to a Bock taste.
Clear golden colour, classic lager whit malty taste and booze. Nothing to remember martjoobolut (5123) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 30, 2015
0,33L bottle (from Tallinna Kaubamaja). Pours clear dark golden with small off-white head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is malt, caramel, burnt sugar, metallic. Flavor is sweet, malt, caramel, burnt sugar, some bitterness, very noticeable alcohol. Carbonation is high. Overall: too boozy, but not the horror I thought it will be. oops (211) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 26, 2014
Pours golden with medium white head. Strangely refreshing with even some hops in it. Nothing too good though. Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - DEC 10, 2013
0.33 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Sweet bready aroma with tart alcohol, honey and toffee. Bready, honeyish and toffeish taste with tart alcohol, cherry. Medium body. Fairly boozy, alcohol dryes finish and leaves hot sensation. TBone (18228) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 22, 2013
Bottled 330ml Tallinn. Clear pale amber color, small white head. Cardboardish and harsh aroma. Medium-bodied. Light sweetish malty flavor, some green apple, paper. Not really alcoholic, just lame and papery.
Marduk (8408) - Reval, ESTONIA - MAR 4, 2013
330ml bottle. Clear golden color. No head, looks like shit. Papery, malty, alcohol in aroma. Alcohol, malty, grainy flavor. Nasty stuff. FatPhil (17080) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 1, 2013
330ml bottle (Stockmann, Tallinn)Senka (1093) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 26, 2013
Meh - papery aroma. On swirling, there’s a hint of some gluey solvent too. Wallpaper - paper plus starch plus glue. You can feel the alcohol. Finish is just more bloody paper. Leaves the mouth needing a cleanse - Marduk suggests casting a /Neutralize Poison/ spell! So much wallpaper. Yeugh!
33cl bottle. Aroma of cane syrup and some caramel. Beautiful orange color for a strong lager. Unfortunately no head at all. Malty enough for the claimed type. Hoppy bitterness is rather weak. Medium body, oily with no carbonation (I would say it is typical for double bock). Better be served colder than usual revved up beer. suurjuust (3767) - ESTONIA - JAN 26, 2013
Orange, white head. Nose is malts and caramel, some hay notes. Taste is pretty much the same with light hops, mild dryness and bitter alcohol in the finish. Thin to medium body, medium carbonation, slightly oily mouthfeel. Better than expected. thirstyrabbit (1851) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 21, 2013
Brown bottle. Dark golden body with a medium to small head. Sweetish malty aroma. Sweet malty taste with medium hoppiness and light alcohol bitterness. Has a bit richer body than local "strong pale lagers" but somehow it doesn’t offer much more depth of flavours. Relatively clean and drinkable but not something exciting.
