COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Castle Milk Stout has a thick texture, strong flavour and a full, satisfying and complex taste, with a hint of caramel. Dark roasted malt provides its distinctive dark colouring, and the creamy, smooth head comes from a special yeast.

Nice aroma, something slightly different than a Guinness. Not as thick and slightly sweeter. Coffee is there obviously together with malts and roasting. Black and creamy.

Although this is a mass produced beer, it is good. Creamy and smooth and is easy drinking.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2014 -Backlog- Black with tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and milk chocolate. Creamy palate. Aftertaste is sweet milk chocolate and a nice and refreshing mix of spicy noble hops and sweet roasted malt. Overall: Mass produced, but wow. This one is excellent and easy to drink. -Castle milk stout ultra smooth- Pours black with impressive off-white head. Great lacing! Aroma is gym socks, metal, roasted malt and some chocolate. Creamy and smooth palate. Aftertaste is roasted, chocolate milk, some metal and some hop bitterness.Overall: Really good! Aroma is not good, but the rest is impressive for a big brewing company. Total score is the average of normal and ultra smooth.

Bottle, t t t twist off! Black with a medium sized light brown head. Cornflakes, light grain, roasted malt, maybe a little chocolate if I stretch it. Medium body, oily texture, soft/medium carbonation, medium sweet with little bitterness. Somewhat inoffensive and perhaps likeable if you care for cornflakes with chocolate.

Bottle in Juba South Sudan Bar. One of my favorite African beers. Creamy, smooth, malty with sweet nose and nice frothy head with slight bitterness.

Bottled brought from South Africa by LeoR, medium sample. Dark color, short frothy brownish head. Aroma of roasted malt, bit licorice, sugary, molasses. Sugary sweet taste, slight bitter, quite dry. Typical.
