Fruity nose, plum, dark fruits. Dark ruby body, thin tan head. A muted, Smokey texture to the taste with less sweetness than expected. The palate is left soured rather than sharpened. A watery mouthful and not on a par with pales. Cask.

Cask @ the Wellington, Birmingham City Centre. Translucent dark brown, flat. Scent of chocolate, coal fire, malt vinegar. Boring bittersweet taste, leading to a slightly more bitter finish. Surprisingly chewy palette. Very meh.
