A traditional Australian lager with a clean, crisp taste and a satisfying after-bitterness. XXXX Bitter’s delicate aroma comes from the blending of two hop varieties and a sweeter, fruity tang from the yeast. High drinkability in warm climates.

A very good lager. My rating is low because lager isn’t one of my favorite styles of beer. But if I had to choose a lager, this would be in my top 10. Nothing special, but nothing offensive either.

On tap at brewery in Brisbane. Thin bodied. High carbonation. Moderate bitterness. Very mild malt an citrus flavours. Watery consistency. As tasteless as beer can get. This is an average beer.

Probably my favourite XXXX brew. Good mix of bitterness and sweet malt. Still light and refreshing. Get’s a bad wrap, but there are far worse. Beers out there.

375ml Dose. Goldenes Bier mit cremigem Schaum. Getreidiger bitterer Duft. Etwas süsse im Geschmack. Wenig Kohlensäure. Bitteres Finish.

Bottle. Gold, low carbonation, low head. Pleasant enough, a tad sulphur bittering hops take us alone a medium light straw like body to a quick finish with a light grainy and grassy aftertaste. In Queensland spring temperatures I really cannot fault this for being a easy quaffable brew, commercial deScription checks out.

On tap at XXXX Alehouse, Brisbane on 9th September 2015. Amber with thinning white foam and scant lacing. Sweet toffee malt aroma. Malty in-mouth with leafy herbiness. Bittersweet finish. Clean. Zingy mouthfeel and medium body. Not too bad at all.

Wim (4160) - Weelde, BELGIUM - AUG 30, 2015
On Holiday gold-blond colored body with a white head with a fruity hop aroma and a sweet fruity hop dry bitter taste with a bitter finish
