How come I’d never seen this before? Bought from local bottle shop expecting the worse, but was not as bad as I would have thought. Poured the usual dire piss yellow with no head. Corny sweet and nasty taste. Drink cold.. very cold. beerledgend (1196) - Waterloo, Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 9, 2006
Bright gold colour with big white head. Lots of corn, everywhere, on the nose in the taste.
Typical Queensland recycled water that numbs the tounge!! mullet (849) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - DEC 17, 2004
Mullet’s late night-Lane Cove-fire sale-clear backpack space for the plane-tasting, with sushi: Very grassy aroma, perhaps even some hop!! Diacetyl, double cream and fresh caramel. Tiny bit of malt flavour, orange cordial with a light metallic bitterness. Surprising creamy mouthfeel. Good swill! And I’d never even heard of it before!

Not a very popular beer, and I can see why. Unremarkable is an understatement. Sully (1380) - Potts Point, New South Wales, AUSTRALIA - JAN 6, 2004
Great, I get to be the 10th reviewer so it gains a percentile. Not that it will be much good mind you, but anyway......Being a DL means that it is thin and dry, with poor hop aroma, flavour and balance. This stands for Don't Like. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 20, 2003
could be worse. some chemical bitterness, has to be drunk very cold. some cane sugar itsmax (103) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUL 10, 2003
Ugh! Why do they bother. Lifeless beer with no flavour and very dull look. Quite a disappointment really. eczematic (1325) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - JUL 9, 2003
dry and flavourless at first, maybe slightly grainy, then you get hit with simultaneous bitterness and nasty australian lager chemicals. at least it's got some bitterness.
