Draft at the source during RBWG. Cloudy golden amber color, thick cream colored head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma is very fruity. Taste is softly sour fruit. jackl (8297) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 25, 2014
Sample @ Catawba during RBWG, Asheville. Hazy amber pour with a small head. Bright countryside, perfume of hops and herb garden. Mango, tropical fruit. Dried driftwood. Pillow brett, marshmallow flavoring. Crisp and nimble. Some orange peel, pear. Countryside pollen. Light body, active carbonation. A really nice funky saison. woodychevy (874) - - MAY 31, 2014
On tap at Catawba. Trying to branch out to different styles, and can appreciate characteristics of this beer- just not for me. Pours and orangy- golden color- not much head. Notes of white wine and spice in the nose. Belgian flavors prominent in the taste- citrus, spice, floral, somewhat medicinal and the Brett adds an interesting funk/sour/ green apple tone. Pretty crisp-medium mouthfeel. Good beer, just can’t get past the belgian flavors. Sort of ironic that I can enjoy same flavors in a glass of wine, but just don’t work for me with beer.

Draft at the brewery taproom during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours lightly hazy gold with a white cream topping. A little poopy on the nose (thanks, brett!) with good general funk and ripe citrus. Light to medium sweet flavor with mellow funk, low bitterness, some melon and tangerine. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish with some further citrus character, juicy melon, light funky twang. Good. pineypower (3347) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - MAR 16, 2014
Growler shared much thanks to Dmac. Pours out a moderate golden color with a small off white head. Aroma is of lots of funky Brett, spice, earth, some pepper, pear. Taste is complex, nice up front plasticky Brett, light medicinal notes, lemon, pepper, pear, light apples, mild grainy notes before a dry bretty finish.

Growler purchased during RBWG. Poured a very slightly cloudy sun burnt orange with a smaller foamy white head. Aroma/flavor is loaded with brett, medicinal, band aid, lemons, citrus, apricot, mango and peach. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Good stuff. phaleslu (10553) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 20, 2014
Draft at the Asheville tasting room. Pours a hazy gold with a small white head. Notes of bretty funk, florals, apricot, caramel, bread, dry grains, orange citrus, and dough. Light-medium bodied, with a funky, fruity mouthfeel and low to moderate carbonation. A little vinous, too. Very nice. My favorite from this brewery. Sledutah (7791) - Utah, USA - FEB 17, 2014

Cloudy amber with a medium sized white head and good lacing. Aroma and flavors are wheat, tart and lemon
Draft at Catawba tap room. Pours a hazy orange golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma had some Brett with floral notes, grass, sweet fruit and funk. The flavor has citrus, pear, mild funk, grass, bready and mildly sweet malts. Pretty solid offering. GT (10002) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 14, 2014

>> Thanks for the share bros. Hazy orange pour, okay foam. Nose is sweet Valencia orange, white wine barrel, fresh and sweet Navel orange, excellent funky white wine character. Taste is solid- some concrete harshness from the Brett, very dry, with wheat cracker, dough, and orange juice. Palate is overly dry, concrete distracts. Still, a good attempt.
