Appearance: cloudy golden with off-white head.
Aroma: flowery hops, vague malt and yeast.
Palate: medium bitter-sweet finish, medium carbonation.
330 ml. typical Bon Secours flip-top bottle from Carrefour supermarket. Orange golden, lightly hazy, fizzing away egg-white head which quickly is entirely gone. Looks a bit like cheap sparkling wine. Nose is cheap esters, plastic, fake honey sweet & grain alcohol in typical run of the mill esters & boozy BE style. Taste is odd plastic sweetness, grain alcohol, plastic honey, light rotting egg,… Plastic & thick oily body, not the best. Warms the throat a bit in a cheap hoock kind of way. Lots of odd plastic sweetness that I cannot place, not a fan of these kinds of beers. I’m definitely not a fan of the brewery that makes this kind of swill. freretoc (1935) - Besançon, FRANCE - DEC 23, 2014

33cl bottle. Hazy light amber colour with floating yeast particles and fine white head. Yeast, malt, esters, caramel and citrus in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is more on the sweet side with some sour notes. Overall, a nice beer. TheFoamhead (260) - Vught, NETHERLANDS - DEC 19, 2014
The taste is dominated by a sour taste as you usually get with spontaneous fermented beers. This goes along with a heavy alcohol taste that is somehow contradictory to the medium body of this brew. A light dry hop finish rounds it up.
OK, but certainly not my kind of beer due to it’s sour character. RW80 (2813) - Hoogeveen, NETHERLANDS - DEC 15, 2014

Caulier’s Christmas tripel, from the typical Bon Secours swingtop bottle. Hazy deep blonde under a thick, creamy white head; estery, pale malt sweetness, lots of yeasty spiciness, candi sugar, honeyish, coriander, citrus peel freshness, sweet and herbally hop bitterish finish with warming, but not really disturbing alcohol, very yeasty as well. Quite enjoyable.
