Molto carbonata, astringente, calda, corposa. Abbastanza equilibrata, non del tutto armonica

Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel Belgium. The beer is hazy yellow to golden colored and has a large white head with nice carbonation. The aroma is malty and fruity with notes of yeast, grass, citrus, bananas, orange peels and coriander. Taste is light sweet with notes of malts, bananas, oranges and citrus and some bitterness in the end with spices and annoying alcohol. Finish is warming alcohol, light dry and spicy bitter.

Visual: Resealable bailer-top. Pours dirty muddy yellow-orange with no real head, a thin ring and a big island of retention, singular scatter steady micro streams.

Nose: sweet apple-barley malt. (lvl-3)-pungency

Attack: thicker-slick crisp, subdued alcohol

Mid-palate: low tingly CO2, (lvl-6-sweetness), toffee barley malt, alcohol heaviness, red apple, hints of apricot

Finish: very subtle bitter hops, biscuity malt, light alcohol heat, chamomile-honey exhale, lingering hopped bittersweet

Summary: This one is more about structure, texture and transitions than it’s rather mild flavour profile - No particular flavours grab your attention, but the ease of which the 10% ABV goes down is surprising.

F: average, creamy, white, not long lasting. C: deep golden, hazy, opaque. A: malt, candy, like cider, esters, alcohol, light honey, yeast. T: malt, alcohol, fruity, grainy, honey, white sugar, full body but not good balanced at all, normal carbonation, I must to say that one of the worst Christmas Belgian beers, sorry, not worth to try, BB: 11/17, 0,33l bottle from Carrefour in Virton.

Bottle at the Aaahhh...ØL!!! Julebord 2015. Cloudy yellow body with a nice white head. Aroma is yeasty with peach and bread, taste is sweet caramel with oranges, lightly spiced in finish. Quite notable alcohol, 10% may be a bit high for this beer.

22/01/2016 - 33cl bottle @ my eldest sister’s place. Hazy blonde, no head (could be because of the glass (washed in a dishwasher) but than it didn’t have a lot of carbo either. Nose is malty, banana, alcohol. Taste is sweet malty, banana, spices, alcoholic. The alcohol is disturbing and making it a bit too sweet too highly enjoy.
