COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A modern twist on the classic pale ale. Bucket loads of Nelson Sauvin hops are added late in the boil to create the Cavalier Pales signature flavour. Bold grapefruit and passionfruit from the hops are supported by a firm but not overwhelming malt backbone. Special attention has been paid so that there is no harsh bitterness from the hops, finishing off a refreshing and easy drinking beer.

Slight haze to a very pale looking ale. Lots of sweet malt on nose and in mouth, more than many pale ales. Some fruity, bitter hops too. Quite like it.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2017 Pint on tap at Three Crowns in North Melbourne. Amber beer with white head. Fulsome carbonation. Nose of dough and berries. Full body, viscous texture. Taste is berries, finish is dry with pithiness. Very nice.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2017 Appearance/Aroma/Taste/Palate/Overall: 4/9/8/2/18. 330mL bottle from Boozebud, $3.50 immediately after the re-branding release. So fresh! Appearance: Orange amber. 5mm head which lasted before drinking. Drinks down to a broken film which laced well to the very end. Aroma: Tropical, punchy and resinous. Reminds me of 4 Pines In Season No 4. Taste: Heaps of juicy tropical and grassy hops. Resinous tree sap. A little sweet. Moderate bitterness. Backed by moderate caramel malts - very well balanced. Aftertaste of green grapes. Palate: Overcarbonated, making the body feel slightly hollow like Coca Cola. Overall: Resinous and fruity pale ale! What’s the difference between this and a NEIPA? Added to my favourites list. Not at all boozy at 5% abv. 18/20

Very drinkable pale ale that is what it's meant to be without going over the top. Nice dark orange whit long lasting white head. Pleasing taste with a touch of sour. Could've been a bit stronger booze'wise but still a nice ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head and a little broken lace. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a fresh grassy hop citrus, light yeast, light pine needle palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Super fresh and tasty.

Draught @ Brewhouse 69, Sale, Victoria Deep clean golden beer, creamy white head. Good nose - grainy biscuity toasty malts in good measure pave way for solid citrus, grass & tropical fruity hops. Medium body, nice creaminess to it, moderate carbonation. Plenty of flavour - citrusy, vinous fruity hops, good malt notes of biscuity & toasty. Moderate-high bitterness, excellent balance. Solid APA, tasty!

(Bottle) Hazy amber with stupid quantity of head - took two pint glasses to pour 500ml. Nice fresh pine aroma with hints of pepper. Medium bodied with good smooth carbonation. Nice well balanced taste. Plenty of fresh fruity flavours over so e subtle biscuity malt at the start with some good bitterness developing late in the finish. Very pleasant - after an annoying pour.
