COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A modern twist on the classic pale ale. Bucket loads of Nelson Sauvin hops are added late in the boil to create the Cavalier Pales signature flavour. Bold grapefruit and passionfruit from the hops are supported by a firm but not overwhelming malt backbone. Special attention has been paid so that there is no harsh bitterness from the hops, finishing off a refreshing and easy drinking beer.

Pours cloudy golden color with a small head. Sweet fruity aroma of oranges and grapefruit. Malty body, citrusy taste with a medium hoppy finish. Good carbonation. I like it!

mattyhennessy (376) - Highton, AUSTRALIA - AUG 5, 2014
Pours a cloudy amber golden with a foamy white head. Appealing to the eyes. Well carbonated and medium bodied for a pale ale. Aroma is very fruity; largely citrus, pine, passionfruit and grapefruit, including some of the bitter bitter citrus peel. Taste has a surprising level of malt character that the aroma did not elude to. Some biscuity character that helps balance the large hop character. Zesty and acidic fruit finish. Great.

Malty in aroma. Bit of pine. Not a lot of fruit but it not missing it. Almost a bit of caramel. Very slight bitterness in mouthfeel. But very pleasant overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured a cloudy orange amber with a two-finger foamy head. Laced OK. Moderate carbonation. Aroma with hops slightly stronger than malt. Taste has good balance between hops and malt. Medium body. Moderately long smooth flavoursome bitter finish. On the bitter end of the Pale Ale spectrum.
