Cask conditioned at Egham Beer Fest #13. Amber with white head. Straight into the Festival with an absolute belter, initially quite dry and malty with a vague apricot note, then a zingy, dry grapefruit pith flavour cleanses the palate thoroughly developing a fleshy fruitiness through to the end. Excellent. ladnewton (1961) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2012
Cask at Craft Beer Co, London on 31st October 2012. Hazy copper with lasting off-white head and lace. Rich herby aroma and plenty of grassy and leafy hop in-mouth.. Fruity citrus present at front-of-mouth. This lasts into a rich but delicately balanced finish of gass and grapefruit. Smooth yet engaging mouthfeel and medium body.
