Clear pale yellow, no foam head visible. Light barley aroma and taste. Guess OK for location, but still. (Cayman Islands 201702) nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - SEP 30, 2009
The aroma is soapy, skunky, corny and chemical like. The appearance is the one thing this beer has going for it. It has a nice large foamy head and a golden color. The flavor is like the aroma with lots of bitter grass from start to finish. The palate is thin but refreshing. The beer overall is not worth drinking. johnnnniee (4312) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 28, 2011
First stop on my recent cruise was Georgetown Grand Cayman where I had the opportunity to sample a few bottles of Caybrew while waiting for the line to the tender to go down. Served in a green bottle at Margaritaville by a waitress who seemed put out when I asked for a glass.
Pours a fizzy yellow bordering on gold with a good sized fluffy white head that dissipates quickly.
Smells of light grains a hint of corn and a slight floral hop note if I think about it real hard.
Taste is light and refreshing and hits the spot on this 90+ degree day. Light sweet malt with a hint of floral hops and a hint of skunk. Reminds me a lot of Heineken or what I remember of Heineken.
Light body, crisp carbonation, watery mouthfeel. Light and refreshing on a warm day but little in the way of flavor for my wrecked palette. martin00sr (4035) - Haderslev, DENMARK - DEC 9, 2016
Clear, pale yellow, thick white head. Grainy aroma. Grainy flavour, sweetish with some kind of bitterness and perhaps even some spice. But that might be the Fiji snacks from earlier. Nice, fluffy mouthfeel. Terminus (3683) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - FEB 1, 2012
Tap at a tiki bar at Georgetown, Cayman Islands right on the port-pours lite orange/dark yellow with a small fizzy white head with some lacing. nose is of a european lager beer-lite skunk, metallic notes and mineral aspects. however, its actually quite pleasant on this tropical oasis. flavors are lite minerals, skunky yeast and husky malt flavors with a lot of sweetness. not much adjunct flavors which made this quite refreshing. has quite a bit of spicy hops to balance out the dryness. a very nice beer for a tropical island!

Can purchased Jan in Grand Cayman.
Clear gold with a white head.
Horrible rotted vegetable aroma.
The flavor thankfully leaves the aroma behind.
Lightly sweet, no hop flavor.

Bottle. Poured a crystal clear pale gold color with a white head. Vanilla, corn syrup, and fresh grassy hops in the nose. Light bodied and slightly sweet with hay, distinct corn, and pleasant grassy hop. Not too bad despite the corny notes. dfinney23 (3268) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 17, 2011
A typical but somewhat better than average island-style lager. Only ever had it straight from the bottle or in a plastic cup, just as it should be. Bacterial (2999) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - DEC 13, 2014
Can brought to me by a student and shared with a bunch of the MN crew at Steazy’s. Clear light yellow pour. Clean and crisp. A hint of citrus and a light lager finish. Just fine. lithy (2996) - Capital of Appalachia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 1, 2010
So I bought this and then realized you can’t even really see the Cayman Islands on the world map. Anyway, golden yellow, spotty floaties, weird, white cover. Aroma is skunky, corny, typical lager. Taste is metal, thick corn, sweet, syrupy.
