Nice creamy aromas. Beautiful.color and head. Taste is very one dimensional. Just bitterness. Overall it’s a decent beer but nothing great.

330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours a misty gold, fluffy overly exuberant white head. Aroma of breezy citrus and pale malts. Taste is rather lacklustre, some light spice, light hop bitterness, soft pale malts. Neither here nor there.

Bottle from Geers. Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Citrussy, dry and bitter beer. Some tart notes from citrus. Rather grassy and dry finish. Not bad.

33cl bb03/2018, Geers. Missing from BBF 2017. - Bref: the pilsified sessioner midway between Hommelbier and De Ranke xx. Beigish Kellerbier-like pour. Chalky nose, strawy, Grass sods . Rougher-hewn grassy bitterness and soapy proteins to augment the perceived bitterness on this typical North Sea-terroir pieceof meadow: lingering straw and dried hay, some Dupont-style dried white pepper powder and sourish earth - a sod of ingvaeonic grasses in a glass. Classify as: saison.
