330ml bottle at 5%. Pours gold with a large head. Aroma is yeast, candy sugars, green apple skins and a hint of elderflowers. Taste has apple skins to start with a yeasty finish and some dusty elderflowers on the finish. Martinus (4692) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - APR 23, 2012
Initially clear golden blond colour, white head. When pooring the yeast (obviously) becoming quite hazy. Aroma of elderflower, brett, quite floral. Flavour quite bitter, astringent (probably because of the elderflowers. Dry. Quite bitter finish, light astringent and floral. Lasting bitterness. I rather like this one.

(From 33cL bottle @ De Baron, Eindhoven)
Bottle from Healthy Spirits in San Francisco. Served in a Moeder Lambic tulip because, forgive me, I don’t have Cazeau stemware.
Pours a clear golden-yellow with a huge, foamy white head with great retention and tons of sticky lacing on the way down. Some visible carbonation bubbles in the glass.
The nose has some mild pepper notes plus plenty of the elderflower that’s announced on the English portion of the label. It’s nowhere near Mamouche levels, but is still quite noticeable. Probably a bit too over the top; I prefer saisons with subtle spicing so it’s not completely obvious what was used.
The flavor is over-the-top with elderflower. This is a fairly-small beer and it’s completely dominated by the elderflower character. There’s pepper skin and a bit of spice. Really not a fan. Spice carries over to the finish. Light body and heavy carbonation.
This is really a one trick pony, and I’m not a fan of that single attribute, so this is one I don’t really enjoy. If you like Mamouche and want something more accessible, give this one a try.

Bottle, 33 cl. Bbd 04-2013. Cloudy light orange with a foamy, partly stable white head. Interesting but strange dry, floral aroma of elderflowers, light citrus and malts. Flavor is citric, flowery, raw herbal, sulfur, nettles, a little malty-sweetness with a harsh bitter finish, not quite In balance, yet somehow intriguing. But I am not that fond of the sulfur/nettles note! It’s like drinking bad breath. Slim body, crisp texture, lively carbonation. pivnizub (10766) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - APR 6, 2012
Bottle: Almost clear, visible carbonation, stable mid-sized white rocky head, flowery and yeasty nose sith a nice dash of hops in the background; quite light nodied, but almost creamy, soft moderate bitter-sweet flavour; lingering dry hoppy finish. Pretty good…

Hazy gold in color. Tastes like a light wheaty gold ale. A very drinkable summer beer, but nothing particularly sets it apart. note666 (1305) - Eindhoven, NETHERLANDS - MAR 13, 2012
2012 - 03 - 13 330ml bottle. light yellow golden colour. medium white head. floral aroma. bitter taste. MoritzF (10068) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAR 3, 2012
(bottle, 75cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big but loose blond foamy head. Yeasty-spicy grainy pale malty aroma with a flowery touch and traces of vanilla. Mildly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Pale malt-character, slightly grainy and yeasty taste with a dry mouthfeel; moderately bitter and quite herbal hoppy finish. Fresh and pleasant. 29.II.12 BeerandBlues2 (13697) - Escondido, California, USA - FEB 19, 2012
Tap at Max’s. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is light biscuit malt, citrus hops and earthy yeast. Flavor is malt forward with light hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Light body and warmth with medium carbonation. elihapa (1554) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - JAN 20, 2012
10/28/11 notes: Draft, LB. Brewed with herbs, and noticeably! Aroma has blended dillweed, coriander and chives, along with peppery, white vinegar notes. Flavor is spicy, bittersweet, mildly acidic. Really fascinating stuff start to finish: Jalapeno, basil and green bell pepper lead the flavor profile, with noble hops and a wisp of farmhouse yeast showing towards finish. A bit unbalanced ultimately, but it is not everyday a beer comes along with completely its own character like this one.
