COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"A true seasonal beer, as refreshing as it should be! Taste it in the summer, sitting at a terrace table … " Originally, season beer was a beer brewed before the summer and intended for summer-season farmhands. It had low alcohol content and a marked bitterness that made it really refreshing. We wanted to offer a truly seasonal Season with production limited in time. As Laurent Agache’s

10/28/11 notes: Draft, LB. Brewed with herbs, and noticeably! Aroma has blended dillweed, coriander and chives, along with peppery, white vinegar notes. Flavor is spicy, bittersweet, mildly acidic. Really fascinating stuff start to finish: Jalapeno, basil and green bell pepper lead the flavor profile, with noble hops and a wisp of farmhouse yeast showing towards finish. A bit unbalanced ultimately, but it is not everyday a beer comes along with completely its own character like this one.

Strykzone (7797) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JAN 12, 2012
Sampled at an esbls tasting. A gusher. Clear golden. A funky floral aroma. A very soft flavor profile is light fruit and flowers. Some malt. Almost a lawnmower saison. Nice but light.

Bottle at home. Clear golden pour, thin solid white head. Aroma of flowers and somewhat artificial air freshener. Slightly spicy and bittersweet flavor. Loads of herbs. Not bad, but the aroma reminds me of the toilet air freshener my grandparents always used, but that’s probably a more personal issue I have with this brew.

(750ml bottle) Pours a cloudy straw yellow body with a tall rocky white head and nice Brussels lacing. Aroma of florals, delicate vanilla, grass, subtle apple, horse blanket, and lemon peel. Flavor of florals, lemon peel, grass, and earth with a soft palate. Excellent.

Bottle… Lightly hazed with a straw tint and a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Excellent retention. Floral, dandelion and elderberry aroma with traces of white pepper and yeasty white bread. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with supple carbonation. Good balance. The flavor is lightly sweet and mildly acidic with low bitterness. Spicy floral notes. Lingering, lightly bitter finish. Bottle courtesy of Dstructo!
