COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Objectively … the best stout in the world! Savour it with your dessert - with an ice cream and spéculoos, for example - and close your eyes: it’s like entering a torrefaction workshop … This beer is the favourite of the brewer, who has always adored stout. “But I mean real Stout, not oversweet gassy liquids!”. With an aim of finding a fairly marked coffee after-taste, we have chosen to use the most torrefied barley malt that can be found on the market - Black malt at 1400 EBC. As this malt is a bit acrid, we have “corrected” it by using another slightly caramelized malt (150 EBC), and some brown sugar. So that the hops can exist alongside these strong caramelized and torrefied malt flavours, we have mainly opted for the strong American hop, Tomahawk."

From tap at Den Tatoverede Enke. Pours dark brown to black with a thick lacing tan head. Mild acidic and hardroasted aroma. Acidic and light metallic initial flavour. Flavour is hard roasted malt clear outconqoured by the more fruity and light estery yeast note. Holds a solid acidic note to the dense yeast and malt flavours. Ends mild spiced, yeasty and with a roasted malt note.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt and chocolate with a slight underlying acidity from the roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt, a sharp note of ground cocoa and coffee beans on the palate, as well as notes of dark bitter chocolate, and a slight acidity from the hard roasted malt coming along in the finish. The mouthfeel is very creamy and the alcohol tickles the tongue.

Dark brown beer, clear. Soft palate but decent carbonation underneath. Porter like dark malt with some repressed banana. Finishes dry and minerally. Decent.
