A nice mocha head that disappears rather quick. Some caramel and nutty notes in the aroma. Tastes of toasted malt with chocolate notes and a fairly clean mouthfeel and finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at the Brewery Tap. Poured black with a tan head. Good oatmeal coffee chocolate aroma. Taste much the same with a good body and lasting dark malts.

Better than average stout shared with many people at a bottle share. Pretty good roastiness of this black pour.

tastes and looks like a young rushed homebrew, even down to the ms paint label .. . smoked dirt and roast .. lacking in every way, badly made .. . .
On the flip side, when my great grandmother first came to the US, the first thing she had was a banana. She took a bite and spit it out because she didnt know you had to peel it.

Pours almost black with a small tan head. Aroma is of lots of roast, chocolate, some burnt toast and mild sweetness with a touch of bitterness. Taste is complex, smooth roasted malts, light coffee, chocolate and some charred toast with a light bitterness. I kind of like it.

22oz bomber poured into red solo cups as the good times rolled at the pavilion. Black body with a half-finger of tan head. Not much lacing, but hey, its a solo cup. Aroma is roasted malt, cocoa powder, and a touch of coffee - on the simple side. Flavors are similar, roasty malt sweetness leads through some cocoa and coffee bitterness. Medium body, thin texture, especially for an oatmeal stout, medium carbonation, a touch high for the style, dry finish.

Bottle. Pours a mostly opaque dark brown body under a small fizzy brown head. The nose is nicely chocolaty and sweet with a bit of burnt malt and dark coffee. The flavor is a bit weaker than the aroma, a little too burnt and lacking in the smoothness that I want from an Oatmeal Stout. Medium bodied with a soft fizzy carbonation level. Decent overall I guess, just a little too heavy on the burnt notes.

Rotbox offering @ home. Pours a dark brown appearance with a thin dark brown head. Theres some coffee and anise notes in the nose. Oatmeal and a smoke as well. Some frosting notes. Kind of thin and watery. Fairly burnt / smoky flavor. Dark chocolate. Fairly bitter / herbal finish. Bleh.

Not much comes through on the nose. Nice caramel head that fades pretty quickly. Nice lacing. A little on the hoppy side. Glad to support some up and coming Florida breweries.

Bomber. Pours a pure jet black color with a medium somewhat thick brown head. A big black patent and light roast nose. Somewhat dry, cocoa, light dark fruit, some fruity bitter hops. Overall, dry and mellow. Light metal. Decent enough would be better on cask.
