2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A nice mocha head that disappears rather quick. Some caramel and nutty notes in the aroma. Tastes of toasted malt with chocolate notes and a fairly clean mouthfeel and finish.

Majority of an 8 oz. pour, on tap at the brewery’s taproom in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Consumed on 5-27-17. Dark brown. Small to moderate amount of taupe head. Dark chocolate scent. Very much an oatmeal stout in aroma. Chocolate flavor. Tasty. Nice roast. Good beer. Lively and smooth in the palate. Refreshing. I like it. 47574xeCD (1216) - Coventry, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2017
Draft at the Brewery Tap. Poured black with a tan head. Good oatmeal coffee chocolate aroma. Taste much the same with a good body and lasting dark malts. fordest (2470) - Santee/San Diego, California, USA - FEB 24, 2016
Better than average stout shared with many people at a bottle share. Pretty good roastiness of this black pour. SudsMcDuff (8468) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - JAN 24, 2016
tastes and looks like a young rushed homebrew, even down to the ms paint label .. . smoked dirt and roast .. lacking in every way, badly made .. . . pineypower (3347) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - JUL 4, 2015
On the flip side, when my great grandmother first came to the US, the first thing she had was a banana.
She took a bite and spit it out because she didn’t know you had to peel it.
Pours almost black with a small tan head. Aroma is of lots of roast, chocolate, some burnt toast and mild sweetness with a touch of bitterness. Taste is complex, smooth roasted malts, light coffee, chocolate and some charred toast with a light bitterness. I kind of like it.

22oz bomber poured into red solo cups as the good times rolled at the pavilion. Black body with a half-finger of tan head. Not much lacing, but hey, it’s a solo cup. Aroma is roasted malt, cocoa powder, and a touch of coffee - on the simple side. Flavors are similar, roasty malt sweetness leads through some cocoa and coffee bitterness. Medium body, thin texture, especially for an oatmeal stout, medium carbonation, a touch high for the style, dry finish. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 17, 2014
Bottle. Pours a mostly opaque dark brown body under a small fizzy brown head. The nose is nicely chocolaty and sweet with a bit of burnt malt and dark coffee. The flavor is a bit weaker than the aroma, a little too burnt and lacking in the smoothness that I want from an Oatmeal Stout. Medium bodied with a soft fizzy carbonation level. Decent overall I guess, just a little too heavy on the burnt notes. cubs (10693) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 6, 2014
Rotbox offering @ home. Pours a dark brown appearance with a thin dark brown head. There’s some coffee and anise notes in the nose. Oatmeal and a smoke as well. Some frosting notes. Kind of thin and watery. Fairly burnt / smoky flavor. Dark chocolate. Fairly bitter / herbal finish. Bleh. AHSlowhand (46) - - JAN 30, 2014
Not much comes through on the nose. Nice caramel head that fades pretty quickly. Nice lacing. A little on the hoppy side. Glad to support some up and coming Florida breweries.
