Appearance: massive head resembles a freshly risen and baked loaf of homemade bread. Under this massive bready cover lies freshly picked oranges – brilliant yet translucent at the same time. Swirls with clumpy blotchy patches of bready fluff.

Nose: on the mild unassuming side. Deeper sniffing uncovers soft baked breads with a touch of sweetness, like Hawaiian rolls. Apricot and mandarin weave in and out. Orange cream in the back along with a touch of banana cream. Freshly squeezed generic tropical esters. Chewy.
Palate: bready and sweet. In a good way, I chew as much as I quaff my way through this dense pale ale. Flowers, crisp baled straw and dried grass in the back refreshes and makes way for more. Grapefruit and orange pith lead the finish. Fresh pulpy sweet mandarin, mango, guava, and papaya – flesh first then it’s all about the skin. Sweet bread laced with fresh orange essence holds everything together.
Final Thoughts: a beach, boat, river, hammock worthy Pale Ale. Located close to the beach, it’s no surprise that I have visions of my toes wriggling in warm sand soft as silk, a slight breeze keeping the temperature just right. A few years ago Florida was a beer wasteland, but no more thanks to such entrepreneurs as Cocoa Beach Brewing.
on tap-pours a tight white head that laces and hazy gold color. Aroma is pine/some citrus. Taste is pine/some citrus, 2nd light malt. Dryish. Bkrzyzak (3) - momence, Illinois, USA - APR 21, 2012 does not count
Nice balance of hoppy and bitter for a pale ale. Would of liked a bit more hop to the front. The IPA was a good balanced beer as well. Pinball (12598) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 16, 2012

Fruity aroma of grass and hops with notes of pine needles.
Fruity flavour of hops, grass and pine needles.
Hoppy finish. OmegaX (1383) - Florida, USA - JUL 19, 2012
Not a bad brew at all. Nose is sweet citrus fruits (orange) and light caramel malt. Not much else going on there. Average. Very sweet nose though. Pour is nice with a golden/bronze color and a big foamy head and solid lacing. Taste is grassy hops with some grapefruit and pine tree on the finish. Malt and sweetness hit you upfront with some lingering straw notes. Pretty nice actually. unclemike (3195) - Junction City Kansas, Kansas, USA - SEP 9, 2012
Pours golden with a creamy white head. Nose is of citric, lime hops and some toasted malts. Slightly drying, toasted malts medium-to-low bitterness, round mouthfeel. A bit of lemon fruitiness in the flavor as well. Drinkable slightly off-the-wall APA. changeup45 (1731) - Lake Mary, Florida, USA - OCT 8, 2012
I saw a few of these in the store the other day and immediately thought, support the locals! This pours a dirty gold color with a nice frothy white head that leaves ample lacing. The aroma is of caramel, bread, cereal grain, and light floral notes. This goes down nicely with sweet caramel, mineral, grass, and citrus flavors. Slightly dry and hoppy finish. There’s a little bit of bitterness here but not a ton. Medium-bodied and a bit toasty. This is solid stuff. I look forward to trying others from this brewery. snoworsummer (6273) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAY 16, 2016
Draft at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a creamy beige head. Tastes like tropical fruit, citrus and pine hops, and biscuit. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like tropical fruit, citrus hops, biscuit malt, and grapefruit.
