Lots of medium and caramel malt in the nose. Seems a bit stronger in the taste with faint bitterness.

Tap at CBBC. Dark brown with a thin tan ring. Aroma of sweet malts, roasted nuts, and burnt sugars. Taste just like it smells. Sweet malts, molasses, roasted nuts, and burnt sugars. Draft... Pours a clear dark brown with ruby highlights and a small, creamy, white head. The bouquet furnishes black tea, cocoa, dark fruits and toasted malts. Medium-bodied with jazzy carbonation. Draft at Land O Lakes WOB. Pours a mostly clear brown color with a very thin white head. Virtually no lacing to be found. Aroma of semi sweet malt. Flavor is somewhat earthy with a decent hop bite in the finish.

Sampled at the FBG Beerfest, poured a cloudy copper color with aromas of butterscotch, roasted malt, and a touch of dark fruits. On tap at CBBC, aroma of sweet malt, molasses, and a touch of alcohol. Smooth, malty, vienna like beer poured a cloudy brown with minimal head. Finish is clean with a touch of noble hops on the way down. Very good beer.
