DocLock (11189) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 29, 2014
750 cc from Whole Foods Plymouth. Pours highly carbonated dark straw with off-white head that laces well. Nose is apple, honey, cinnamon, earthy tartness. Tastes of intense apple, a balance of tart and sweet, more toward tart, with notes of honey, cinnamon, and a complex, dense, and thoroughyl refreshing mouthfeel and finish. This one excels.

Bottle. Aroma hints at some sourness, ripe apples. Clear golden colour. Taste has considerable sourness. Long soury finish. Nicely refreshing. Good one.

FatPhil (17334) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 19, 2013
750ml bottle (Kaubamaja, Tallinn)
Dry dusty apple aroma, a little subdued. Pleasant reddish tint, pours a bit fizzy, then goes flat. Full in the mouth - plenty of sugars to fill it out, but a nice sharp bite too, and carbonation crispens it up as well. Full of apples, maybe those cinnamon apples, very juicy. Very sweet, in a French cider context, but very well balanced and enormously drinkable. Perfect as an aperitif, the acidity is lovely, and the whole thing just gets the juices going.

DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 1, 2014
750ml bottle, shared by Micah. Clear orange pink color. Thin ring of white head. Bottle had been open for a bit, so carbonation may have died a little. Not that I mind. Light to medium body, lightly slick and sticky. Smooth, light carbonation. Lightly drying in the finish. Great big red juicy apple flavor. A bit sweet, but not cloying or sugary sweet like some cheap american ciders. Tasty stuff.

thirstyrabbit (1862) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 1, 2011
Bottle. Dark orange body, small head. Sweet, slightly vinous apple aroma. Rich but a bit plain taste of apples, some mushrooms in there too. Finish is juicy, not dry.

lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 27, 2012
330 ml bottle.
Pours an amber colour with a small foamy head. Aroma of sharp, tart red apples and some wooden notes. Flavour is really packed with juicy red apples, wood, rhubarb and some citric tartness. Some sugary notes as well. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and high carbonation. A big apple finish with light tartness. Intense? No, but very juicy nonetheless.
