Who doesn’t love a great IPA? The secret of this brew is that we used actual dinosaur bones.

Okay, that was a lie. But we did throw in enough hops to bury a Brontosaurus. Inspired by some of our favorite West Coast IPAs, the bold pine, citrus, peach, and tangerine hop flavors, along with a clean bitterness are balanced by a velvety malt backbone. This beautiful blend of flavor and drinkability showcases the truly unique experimental hop 05256 which we find to be delightfully juicy and dank. You don’t need tiny arms and a huge head to enjoy this mammoth IPA!

Pours a cloudy orange-amber color with a small head that collects to a nice ring. Aroma is juicy and fruity. Fresh squeezed oranges and grapefruit, light pine, light pineapple, and light caramel. Taste sugary sweet and very juicy. Only a light bitterness. Grapefruit juice, orange peel, pineapple, and light lemon. Very dry finish with some tartness too

12 oz. can poured into a shaker- poured a very hazy light orange color with shades of copper and yellow. 2mm white bubbly head formed and lasted throughout the dranking, but absolutely refused to lace. Aroma of hops (alot of pine, some grapefruit), caramel, and some oak in the way back for some reason- very nice. Hits the mouth with a very wide body, malt is a bit all over the place and disorganized, nice hop crescent in the middle, finish is acidic enough. A can with some age perhaps, but still very nice to suck down on a hot day.

Pours hazy yellow with an orange tint and little white head. Aroma is dank indeed with grapefruit and sappy pine. Flavor is both crisp and sticky with bitter tangerine. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can at Keith’s grilling pizzas before he had to bolt to the airport. Overall a nice IPA. Not overly dank or bitter despite the name. Easy drinking.

Cloudy orange with a white head. Powerful sweet malt over tangerine, pine, light citrus, and caramel. A bit of resin. Full bodied. Enjoyable.

For the ABV, this is a great IPA. You do get the dank even at 6 percent. Impressive. Full balance of all citrus hops. This beer doesn’t beat around the bush.

Bottle purchased at Specs. Prominent dank hop aroma, pours hazy golden yellow with good frothy head. In addition to dank hops there are also citrusy and piney hops in there too. Finishes crisp. Not the dankiest of dank beers so I find the name a little misleading. I also feel the moderate dankness ends up giving a slightly dirty flavor to the beer, which is why my overall rating probably doesn’t come out as high.

Pours a very cloudy, very golden color. Lots and lots of very thick white head. Huge, thick, rocky. Wow! Good lacing. Great retention, wow! Whoa nelly, there’s some huge chunks in there. I mean, the size of sunflower kernels. They’re resting on the bottom of the glass, but they’re releasing some sort of oil, you can see it. Ordinarily, I’d give a super high score, but those are some huge! chunks.

Aroma is dank, alcohol. Peach, tangerine. Grassy hops.

Taste is much of the same. Dank, very dank. Alcohol.

Mouthfeel is medium full. Quite bitter, lots of resin. Alcohol. It could pass for a DIPA.

Overall it’s okay. It’s bigger, heavier and more dank than I expected. I might or might not buy it again. I might or might not recommend it. It’s not bad.

12 oz can. Thanks to Vastactiv and Timo A for this! Hazy orange golden color with a tiny white head. Fruity hops, dank, dryness and malt in the aroma. The flavor is sweet fruitiness, sugary sweetness, fruit juice and malt. Low carbonation. No bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
