473 ml. can. Pours an absolutely enormous, gradually collapsing, ivory head with extensive lacing, over a cloudy dark gold body (SRM 6).....nose is light citrus, pine from the hops, hints of cereal from the malts, minimal esters.....taste is light sweet, with cereal from the malts, light citrus notes, and hints of pine frome the hops, finishing with mild bitterness, no esters.....mouth feel light body, mild acid, soft finish. This can is a poor example of an APA. The hop character is minimally present and the malts are almost insipid. I wonder about its freshness but there is no indication of a BBD on the can, and one can’t tell about the storage history. BJCP 6/2/10/4/5 Bif (2394) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - MAR 19, 2014
16oz can. Pours a hazy golden color with a big foamy head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of citrus, wheat, fruit and some malt sweetness. Staste of some citrus and bit of fruit with a mild malt sweetness and grain. De3cent bitterness and a fairly clean finish. Medium body, crisp and mildly refreshing. Decent beer for the style. dlihcsnatas (822) - Temple, Texas, USA - FEB 18, 2014
Poured up a hazy gold with a decent white head. Smelled of citrus, almost like a wheat brew and at first thought it was a wheat, but it ain’t. Taste is of citrus hops with a small taste of floral every so often. The malt is pretty subdued. Not a bad brew and one that I could see being an every day drinker other than the big tag on it. For cost had to drop the overall. Did not see the price paid for the quality on this one. Cavie (4874) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JAN 18, 2014
Tap at the pub. Pours a very clear light orange color. White head. Aroma is big fresh hops and grain. Sweet notes. Flavor is also fairly hoppy, dry leaves, grain with a light bitter finish. Good!

Golden yellow. Huge white head. Very piny aroma, could even be juniper, with some fruit. Taste is good and nild while being fully satisfying with low key malts and hops. Good session brew.

Can:   Hazy orange hued straw, moderate to large frothy white head, nice lacing.   Sweet citrusy nose, a little pith and peel.   Has a slight floral tinge.   Stong pink grapefruit up front, moderately bitter, nice amount of sweetness to balance, but then a bit of powdery pixie stix on the backside.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Loses its touch on the backside, a little pith and peel, with lingering chalky powdered sugar like pixie stix.   Not bad, but smells better than it comes across.   Feels a bit artificial after getting through a few ounces.   Thanks Bill! docsteigs (542) - Texas, USA - NOV 14, 2013
Average, decent pale ale with no faults other than perhaps being somewhat over carbonated. At $6.30 for 4 pounders, good value.

16oz can 11/13/13 (Whole Foods-Lamar)-Pours a murky orangish amber with a huge white head. Aroma of hops and citrus. Taste of hops and grains. This medium bodied brew is a bit off. bhops (433) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 14, 2013
On tap. Color of hazy apple juice. Minimal head. Slight hoppy floral nose. Good initial flavor but dissolves into watery nothingness. Refreshing, but disappointing finish. Not much hop pop but not going for that I suppose. degbert (1776) - Austin, Texas, USA - SEP 11, 2013
Can. Nose is floral, grapefruit, with just a hint of catbox. Pours a hazy gold with a light creamy head. Carbonation is light, with gentle hops on the front of the tongue shading into a slightly more aggressive hops flavor on the mid-palate. Finishes clean and light, not at all heavy; drinks very easy. A good, light pale ale, suitable for watching football or housework or what have you.
