3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light gold, good slightly off-white head. Mine was quite cloudy and had a nicely thick palate. A decent bit going on with this beer made it fun to drink.
From a bottle at a hotel bar in Atlanta. Really good cream ale, on par with the best rich, creamy, yet crisp and clear. Well crafted. rdixon77 (2944) - Georgia, USA - AUG 14, 2017
Not a bad session, somewhat dusty, you get the rye in there, but pretty much standard cream/pale blonde with mild hopping. Crushable for sure. drowland (8955) - Georgia, USA - AUG 14, 2017
8/12/17. 12oz can from Five Points. Clear golden pour with a small off-white head. Light aroma, a hint of floral hops, pale malts. Okay flavor, smooth pale maltiness, rye hits in the back end, floral, a touch of cement dust. Not awful. beer_rookie (637) - Arkansas, USA - APR 4, 2017
Pours a hazy golden straw color. Some pretty good sized sediment in there, not a lot. Pours with a very pillowy head, about two fingers or more. Eggshell colored. Good retention, pretty good lacing. Cybercat (6025) - Georgia, USA - OCT 21, 2016
Aroma isn’t very strong, but wow! It’s sweet, oatey. Smells like a cream soda. Touch of buttered bread. Malty, maybe a smidge of grassy hops.
Taste is sweet, mellow, not bitter at all. Malty, buttery. A very light touch of rye spiciness. Very smooth.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Very smooth, velvety. A touch of bitterness in the throat. Man, this goes down easy.
Overall, this is good. Most cream ales seem to be lacking in flavor, and well, everything. But this is good all around. Sure, the style may be mild, but this is edgy if you will, and pushes things beyond mild. Yes, I’d drink this again, and I would buy it again. I would recommend this, it’s good.
Can. Pours slightly straw yellow with a nice thick eggshell head. Aroma features malty and subtle fruity notes, not strong but inviting. Flavor delivers the same, but stronger, for a satisfying if not spectacular ale. Mouthfeel has fair-to-middlin fizz and body. Typical, but refreshing.

Pours a dull golden color out of a can. A lot of hay and dried grass in the flavor. No carbonation or head djd07 (15342) - Houston, Texas, USA - SEP 5, 2015
