Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark caramel color with a medium sized creamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was toffee, honey, nut and fruity hops. taster on tap @ Cellar Dweller / Morrow OH --- Clear dark amber, thick head rim with a light head cover, thin streaks of lace. Taste is dry malt that adds some hop bitters in the palate. Tap at brewery. Pours clear amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is cereal and pale malts, light tea, faint woodiness, and faint spice. Flavor is very dry with some grassy hop bitterness, and some black tea notes. Light/medium body and medium carbonation.

Sample at The Crafty Pint. The beer is a slightly hazy amber-copper color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet caramel, earthy hops and roast malt. The finish is sweet with a bready malt aftertaste. Draft on a couple occasions. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have mild caramel, toasted pale malts, light fruit character, mild bitterness to the finish. Taster on tap at Firehouse Grill. Mostly clear amber orange color. Thin khaki head, some loose bits of lace. Caramel and toasty english malts in the nose. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Medium body. Moderate bitter taste, light sweet. Solid english pale ale.
