Keg at the Beavertown Extravaganza, day one, 09/09/17. Black with a well presented tan head. Nose is sticky toffee, dark chocolate melt, mellow oak, black peppery spice, fruit rinds. Taste comprises chocolate, molasses, moderate bourbon pitch, light black peppery spice, rich roast, dates. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a restrained boost. A decent enough impy stout but not a patch on their hop shizzle.
