The beer is a pale, amberish yellow color. Small white head. Fades pretty quickly. Some lacing. More words about appearance. Mild but juicy hop aroma. Tropical fruit with a sharper citrus backbone. Pineapple, mango and papaya with grapefruit rind. Mild honeyish pale malt sweetness somewhere in the background. The taste is super juicy with more hop complexity. Resinous and tropical fruit finish that lasts surprisingly. The aroma belies the hop flavor in the taste. Surprise hops. Moderate malt sweetness for those hops to sit on. Hop oily feel but light otherwise. Tasty stuff. brokensail (16696) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 16, 2014
On tap @ Beachwood Brewing. Slightly hazed, very pale golden pour with a white head. Nose is super zesty and pithy. Some lemon, kumquat, and really dank pine. Quite dry and crackery. Some grass, unripe melon, and strawberry. Kind of a bitter, herbal flavor. A ton of pine and citrus pith. Some kumquat, berry, and tart melon. Really aggressive, unfortunately. Quite dry. Kind of a catty finish. Not as good as I’ve come to expect from these guys. Getbetter (1033) - East Palo Alto, California, USA - OCT 12, 2014
From a growler opened the night before. The pour is a hazy pale yellow with a lime hop note and a light body. bytemesis (9633) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - OCT 11, 2014

Draft at Cellarmaker. Bright clear golden with a small white head. Dank citrus hop aroma. Flavor has a mild sweet malt base yielding to a hop blast. Only 30 IBU? Fool please, not even! Fairly light and crisp yet biting. Legiiiiit!

Yellow pour with a nice white head at the Rare Barrel. Rally nice hoppy citrus nose. Taste is ok, tropical bitter and somewhat chalky or mineral going on in there. joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - OCT 5, 2014
On draft at Hog’s Apothecary. It pours a nice yellow color with a great creamy white head. The aroma is tropical passionfruit, lime and grapefruit. The flavor is the same. Lime, passionfruit and a little spicy grass and dank. LIght crackery/bready malt in the background with a touch of honey. Moderately bitter with a little pine in the finish. Great stuff. joet (2680) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - OCT 4, 2014
A much softer, dusty, earthy variant of the cellarmaker trademark. Light golden light white fine foam. Lightly creamy bits of carbonic edge in the feel. Bit of vinous, tropical fruit, light bit of chalk, earthy, mineral, bit of strange. This is yum. Grownup cellarmaker and nice
