Draft at brewpub, Super mineral and juicy clean, notes of tropical dank hops, light hazy golden color, small lacing. Light sugar but mostly dank guava and pineapple type hop notes filling my glass and mouth. Awesome stuff. dpitinga (138) - Mountain View, California, USA - JUL 26, 2015
UPDATED: JUL 27, 2015 Though known for their exotic hops (terroir and know-how trump localness for localness’ sake, n’est-ce pas?), these folks know how to do proximate. Case in point: this beer with Zimmermann’s Simcoe, Gamaches’ Amarillo, and Probasco’s Citra. Viva Yakima (Moxee Valley)! Getbetter (1033) - East Palo Alto, California, USA - JUL 19, 2015
From a tap at the brewery. The pour has lemon and hops notes with a thin body. popery (2231) - San Francisco, California, USA - JAN 25, 2015
The beer is clear and light gold in color. Nice and bright. Medium white head. The aroma is bright and fresh and excellent. Lots of tropical fruit and sweet citrus. Mango, lemon, guava, blackberry, mild honey-ish malt sweetness. Mild bitterness, lots of hop flavor. Lasting citrus peel and pineapple finish. Some lime, big guava and mango, mild pine. Good stuff. Light feel, mild hop oiliness.
