COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Vic Secret and Ella are two Australian hops that we used in this fruity and floral pale ale. We also added a good dose of American Simcoe for that classic pine character that balances all that fruit so well. The resulting beer is soft and super crushable with hints of orange and lemon peel, lilac and eucalyptus.

On tap @ Caps & Taps. Hazy pale yellow, like 75% of their beers, it seems. Nice white head as well. Starts with a nice bit of pineapple, mango, and green grape. Get a touch of bitterness in the form of grapefruit and orange peels. Nice sweetness of dried pineapple, fresh peach, and a subtle herbal quality. Maybe some lime zest going on as well. Finishes kind of floral and perfumey.

Sample at the tap room. Cloudy yellow-gold color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of herbal hops, fruit and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of floral hops, pine, fruit and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Draft pour on tap at the brewery tap room (San Francisco, CA). Pours a hazy pale straw hue, a bit of yellow glow, full frothy creamy whitish crown envelopes the top, good firm lacing throughout. Aromas are a bit tropical, soapy, citrusy and gumball elements are mellow but there. A bit of that tropical Simcoe life, not quite catty, but a cool sweet fruity appeal starts to grow. A touch of bready malt, earthy appeal, subtle sweetness bites behind. Initial is a bit fruity, citric, grapefruit and subtle tropical waft meet firm bitterness, earth and florals, a bit of lemon, grapefruit, soap, florals. Clean, bitter Amarillo/Simcoe type appeal is fresh but not overwhelming. Soapy and bitter florals support with a distinct cleaner cereal bready and grainy appeal behind it all. A bit fruity, dry, and bitter as we trail out. Firm bitterness, wafts of fruit largely lead the charge. Clean, fruity, fresh but also light, crisp, crushable fresh Pale. Tasty stuff.

On tap at the brewery. The beer is a light tannish golden yellow color. White head with some lacing. Big, round citrus flavor. Full of orange with a piney edge. Taste is moderately dry. Light chalky feel. Pleasant yeasty note. Mild to moderate bitterness. Good orange flavor in the taste. Some lime, juniper and pine. Very pleasant.
