Grumpelmies (318) - GERMANY - JUN 1, 2017
Bottle. Light brown with a nice frothy head. Aroma of caramell and malts. Taste is toffee, caramell, malts and nuts. Pretty thin and watery for a Doppelbock. Medium carbonation. Bekenner-Bock is a great name but the overall experience was disappointing.

Aus der Flasche getrunken (Kauf bei GP Salzwedel). Dunkles Amber mit viel Schaum im Glas. In der Nase etwas Malz. Im Mund eher pfeffrig und sprittig.

circinus (305) - SWEDEN - MAY 22, 2015
Bottle 50cl from somewhere in Germany. Clear amber/orange with a white head. Toffee, fudge, fruity, vanilla. Lots of mash, some bitterness, malty, quite sweet. Medium body, medium carbonation, sweet finish.

MichaelAwesome (6519) - Wanne-Eickel, GERMANY - MAY 9, 2015
Netter und recht trinkbarer Bock ohne viel Muff, dafür mit ein wenig Karamell, Nuss und etwas Malz im Hintergrund. Kein Klassiker, aber vollkommen in Ordnung mit leichter Süffigkeit.

McTapps (6889) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - MAY 8, 2015
Bottle from Erzengel - many thanks, Gabriel! The beer has got a deep dark brown colour with a steady smooth head and smooth body. Aroma of malt and hops with some bready touch. Taste of smooth hops, malt, barley, ripe fruits, caramel and straw. Smooth to drink, solid in its style.

3.3
Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - FEB 5, 2015
bottle from Bierzwerg. Golden brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Malty with hints of caramel, dried fruit and nuts. Smooth and pleasant on the palate. Good one.

2.7
Kristall-König (2820) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - JAN 20, 2015
Geruch leicht röstig, süßmalzig. Süßmalziger Start. Mitte würzig, röstig, Rosine, Marzipan. Abgang bitter, leicht alkoholisch, wirkt etwas holprig. Geht so.

2.8
Grima (2394) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - JAN 18, 2015
Bottle from Bierzwerg!
Pours clear amber colored with flat white head. Smell has grain, caramel and some candy sugar. Starts very sweet with lots of brown sugar, caramel and some sweetish grains. Middle part is also very sugary sweet, grainy with some nice roasted malts. Goes into a well balanced malty-sweet and hoppy bitter finish with a slight alcoholic touch.

3.3
Erzengel (8763) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JAN 17, 2015
The beer starts malty-fresh, slightly bitter, nice malty, fresh. malt-candy-sweetish, nice-smooth, a bit too sweetish but nice.

3.2
BeerViking (4796) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2013
Flip-top bottle, pours light mahogany with a thin white head, the nose brings caramel, a touch of toasted nut, and maybe a hint of apple. The body is sweet-dry with a good alcohol bite, toasted bread and some caramel. Along with caramel-toffee, a disconcerting vegetal, almost gin-like bitterness emerges in the finish.
