Bottle at home from London Bridge Oddbins. Hazed Golden coloured pour with a big frothyrocky white head. Aroma is tart sharp lemon, saison yeast, lychee, orange peel. Some low acid in the nose as well. Flavour is tart citrus, rubber smoke phenols, grapefruit. Rough bitterness. Sticky palate with high carbonation attaking the tongue. Decent, balance is a touch off to me. Too hop forward. thirstyrabbit (1849) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 11, 2014
Small bottle. Yellow amber body, medium head. Aroma has lots of tropical hops. Taste is hop-driven too, as was expected from this brewery. Taste has tropical fruits and some jammy notes. Dry hoppy finish. Doesn’t feel French at all. minutemat (5478) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 11, 2014
330ml bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. Lovin these shapshifter beers so far. This pours a bright copper orange and presents an entrancing floral aroma; a slick mouthfeel with particularly fruity Biere de Garde flavours, orange, tropical and perhaps a few berries, with a very subtle bitterness. A bit sweeter than i’d have liked but a lovely beer nonetheless. AshtonMcCobb (6604) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 9, 2014
33cl bottle from Oddbins.
Appearance - cloudy orange with a generous head.
Nose - earthy and spicy notes. Tangy apricots.
Taste - fruit cake and spicy root vegetables like parsnips.
Palate - medium bodied with a crunchy and tangy texture
The finish is long and drying though not necessarily refreshing.
Overall - a challenging but interesting beer.

330ml bottle from Oddbins, shared with jeevan. Hazy orange-brown pour, thin white head. Malt and spice aromas, light citrus. More citrus on the taste though, ending all orange. Ungstrup (37574) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 7, 2014
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, malt, and flowery hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and citrusy hops, leading to a bitter finish. yespr (45443) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 7, 2014

2 brothers tasting night. Beer 3. From Cotteridge Wines. Orange beer with residual head. Aroma is hoppy and pineapple. Taste has some pith, hops, citrus and some tangerine bitterness. Decent but not like any Bierre de garde I have ever tasted more like an IPA.
