Cask at the Montagu Pyke, London. Pours hazy golden with the white head. Citrus, yeast, fruit, spice. Sourish with bitter finish. Nice one.

Beese (3402) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2014
Cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 27 December 2013. Poured a hazy amber with a medium, white head and excellent lacing. Spicy aroma with notes of orange peal and Belgian yeast esters. Initial flavours of bitter citrus rind mixed with sweet peaches and grassy hop. Dry, bitter finish with straw, tart citrus and pine needles. Pretty solid UK Saison.

The_Osprey (9999) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 5, 2014
Cask at JDW Hammersmith. Clear orange colour, still, white foamy head, leaves decent lacing. Smell is toned down - getting some sweet fruity esters, malts. Body is medium, slightly foamy, low carbonation. Taste - watery malts, slight chemical, apple. Finishes with ash and yeast. Very drying. I was left feeling that this one could have been a lot better.

Strong aroma of stewed apples. Also quite woody. Smooth, rich. Sweet but with dry apple pips in the finish.

downender (9089) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 18, 2013
Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 18/12/2013. Golden with a frothy, white head. Yeasty, stone fruits, a perfumed, floral edge and dryish finish. No evidence of the advertised pumpkin, but a pleasant Belgian styled beer nonetheless.
