Bottle at home, from ABM, 06/07/14.
Hazed golden orange with a good sized white head of bubbles.
Nose is orange marmalade, straw, bread dough, citric peel, light floral notes, caramel.
Taste comprises floral hops, light minerals, bitter orange, touch of grapefruit, honey, pithy citrics, mineral wash.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sharp citric and earthy hop bitterness in the close.
Ok stuff, I’d put this more as an APA than IPA bearing in mind the ABV and hop contents. harrisoni (18981) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2016
Bottle from M&S Stratford and drunk at home. Cloudy aroma lasting thick white head. Hoppy intense aroma. Some toffee on aroma. Intense American hops. Over carbonated. So you get that prickly carbonic acid. Good hops. Good IPA. saxo (18959) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - SEP 17, 2010

Hazy orange color, steady off-white head. Citrus, sweet fruits and yeast in the nose. Medium-bodied. Front is exotic fruity, later grapefruity bitterness and lingering hoppyness. Quite good, sweetish IPA/ESB. Robust malt profile for this ABV.
Bottle. A clear one, golden in color and a dense, white head leaving some lacings. Citrusy and grassy on the nose, some maltyness. Quite nice. It’s rather bitter, with grapefruit peel and a nice malty backdrop. Dry and medium to full bodied. Bitter finish. A quite nice one, pleasantly bitter, and sort of quenching. 110820 jtclockwork (16855) - , New Jersey, USA - SEP 8, 2012

500ml bottle (Drink Shop, Tallinn)
Lovely English hop aroma, really citrussy like a very fresh EKG or Fuggles, at flame-out ot later. Not lacking in pleasant sweet malts though, a good balance. Lovely in the mouth, gentle bitterness, pleasant carbonation, pleasantly full biscuity malty sweetness, smooth, and succulent. Lovely ESB taste, perfect balance, lacking nothing. So easy to drink, and really makes you want another. In some ways there’s a bit of Fullers 1845 in it, but this is hoppier. I think I might have a few more of these, and see whether I can persuade myself to bump up one of the scores, as 3.7 seems a bit of an underrate, this is an *excellent* strong bitter.
