Flavoursome strong pale ale, full of grapefruit aromas.
This commanding IPA-style beer is golden in colour, with a wave of hop aromas leading to a balance of bitterness and sweetness in the flavour, plus a lasting grapefruit finish. Hops used: Chinook, Citra, Magnum, Nelson Sauvin

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and fruit, the latter being rather dominant for a beer within this style. Bitter, hoppy flavour, wi well pronounced sweetish, fruity notes. Bitter afteraste. Nice but tastes more like a DIPA without the ABV peculiar to that style.

Bottle at home from ales by mail
slightly hazy amber with pillowy beige head. Pithy mandarins and Dusty hopsacks, fruity. Sprightly carbonation, pithy, slightly chalky pithy bitterness. Dry finish. Quite austere and tonnes of pith...would make a good aperitif

0.5 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Slightly hazy copper to amber color. Aromas of pine, nuts, toffee and some graininess. Fruity, nutty and bitter taste with toffee, pine, grapefruit and some petrol. Firmly bitter, long bitter finish. Smooth oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really tasty bitter ale.

7.2% bottle at the GJBF Osaka 2013. A dark yellowish gold color, the aroma has a hint of smoke but not as strong as with the Bronze. My favorite of the three Celts I tried today. A bit of smoke, the bitterness is more balanced-quite an interesting beer, I liked it.

.5L bottle, BB dated Nov. 2014 and USDA certified organic, served in a Belgian snifter. Label suggests and English Pale Ale. Pours hazy, light honey in color, with a thin but partly durable bone-colored head. Both the aroma and flavor are unusual. The slightly pungent aroma has clear and quite distinct contributions from sweet malts with light grains as well as herbal/fruity hops. In tasting, the hops are stronger and more earthy than suggested by the nose. They build quickly to a moderately strong level, then magically diminish, soon leaving a rather mildly bitter and hoppy aftertaste with some underlying bisquit. Feel: medium-thin body; medium carbonation

Bottle. Orangy coloured beer with a strong white head. The aroma is strongly hopped, and the flavour is deeply hopped, dry and bitter. Overall a really nice strongly hopped and dry IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
