Bottle. Golden amber body, tall white head. Floral and fruity hops in the aroma. Very hoppy taste with some light fruitiness. These guys love their hops - it’s close to IPA territory, like the two other Celt ales I tried from this brewery. Nice label design - you can probably win over wine people with this. A very classy looking number even prior to the cap coming off. I was biased to like it I suppose, but it pays off with fervour when it was time for a test-run. Cool, but not cold, and into a snifter this one produces up a radiant, misty orange copper with little evident carbonation. After a rough pour settles a good inch of rocky and messy white foam that laces well. Very floral bouquet edged with notes of caramelised orange, lemon curd and palest honey. Assertively hopped, piney and resinous on the palate. Body is light with the head offering it a creaminess and added bitter bite. Grass and rose water, pineneedles and raspy herbs dwell long between sips. Overall it is dry with just a touch of tangy citrus upfront. Backed by enough grainy malt to keep it balanced this is devilishly quaffable. Quality from branding to glass. Delicious! Strong floral aroma, pours with a medium white head, quite a lot carbonation. Slightly sweet fruity taste, not too bad a beer. KeefOz (1951) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - SEP 6, 2013
BB 18.05.2014. Poured a slightly hazy golden amber colour with a one- to two-finger off white foamy head that diminished quickly to leave a ring around the glass. Laced OK. High carbonation as seen by lots of medium sized bubbles forming many trails. Aroma dominated by hops. Taste first up with a touch of sweetness but this quickly followed by floral hops and a lingering hops bitterness after-taste. Light body. Smooth with a long dry bitter finish. Not like other golden ales I’ve tried - more of a pale ale. PorterPounder (8357) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 31, 2013
Tallahassee, Fl - Killearn Liquors - 500 ml WWI hand grenade bottle. Pours a murky light orange with an initial rocky white head that fades quickly. Aroma has a lemony tint to it, hints of vanilla. Flavor has some light sweet toffee notes, a hint of light citrusy lemon bitterness, just a touch of spearmint. Decently thick mouthfeel. Decent blonde ale.

bottle. Clear golden colour, large white head. Fruity and malty with hints of citrus fruit, nice bitter-aromatic hoppy finish. Aurelius (5652) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 21, 2013
Fresh, somewhat floral, sweet iced tea aroma - a little lemon, some tannin. Misty, honey gold, white head. Great gilt label, potato masher brown bottle. Biscuity, pleasantly bitter, a little lemon zest, mineral flavors. As with the other brews that I’ve had from CE, this had a really good balance, no overt flaws, and were right in the middle of the strike zone for their styles. Lemony-bitter finish, starchy body, proper carbonation. Killearn Liquors. mikkellund42 (922) - DENMARK - AUG 14, 2013
Bottle. Pours hazy light amber with creamy white head with nice lacing. Aroma is orange, caramel, malt, spruce, cookies, butter, almond shortcrust pastry, lime, gouda cheese. Taste is medium bitter, light acidic and faint sweet. Body is oily with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and bitter with notes of bitter (red) grapefruit, caramel, malt, milk and spruce. rubbishystuff (2537) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 10, 2013
From Gene’s. LIght and summery, because of the less maltiness the hops leave a distinct bitter after taste. Pale golden color. Serving: Bottle BelgiskOlklub (1089) - Viby J, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2013
Clear golden body and a large creamy lasting head. Aroma of fresh hops, citrus, grass. The taste is heavy bitter and light sweet. Long bitter finish.
