A powerful and deep bodied pale ale with a fruity spectrum of aromas. This robust beer is brewed using a balance of flavour malts and Pacific and Alantic hops, the result is a massive dry-hopped beer with a perfect profile of bitterness, sweet vanilla maltiness and a blend of citrus passionfruit and mango on the finish.
The beer is named after a powerful and warlike tribe of ancient Britain, occupying approximately the counties of Monmouthshire, Breconshire. The Silures made a fierce resistance to the Roman conquest about AD 48, and it remains unclear whether they were actually militarily defeated or simply agreed to come to terms with the Romans!

Juks (1116) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 8, 2017
330ml bottle from Koht, Tallinn. Pours golden clear, big fluffy white head, stays, lacing, little bit over-carbonated. Aroma is citrussy, very fruity, hoppy. Taste is bitter, grapefruity, piney. Bit watery feeling. Kinda light body, over average carbo. Really bitter, nice aroma promised more fruitiness. Drinkable.

Bottle. Pale Yellowy Gold in colour. Pillowy thick off-white head. Very Fruity; bitter grapefruit citrus, some tropical fruit. Very Hoppy; piney hops. Malty; biscuity malts, caramel. Assertively bitter citrus fruity hoppy and very dry throughout. (2014-09-10)

opalescent golden to orange colour, practically no head at all! aroma of pine resin, maybe grapefruit, some mango and apricot, too as well as some floral-honey and biscuity notes; taste of malty-biscuity sweetness, some apricot, maybe mango notes and devastating pine resiny bitterness...well, on the one hnd, it is a good session IPA, on the other hand it does not really have the body for this very intensive resiny bitterness

Absolutly lovly hard dry ale. Coz za swietny wytrawno-gozki sesyjny ale. Wyglad piana wielka twarda niczym slimaka domek, powywijana, trwala do konca. Bardzo gozkie, dubeltowe, Przytlaczajace chmiele, niewiele slodowosci i sporo tropikalnych owocow: kwasne grejfruty, cytryny, limonki i liczi., metne pomaranczowo zolta barwa. Zapach perfum i passiflory. Perfekcyjne sesyjne Ale polecam

Noe uklar brun farge med hvitt skum. Lukter syrlig som grape, lime, eple. Tørr og syrlig i smak. Tørr og syrlig avslutning

adamnowek (3416) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JUL 11, 2016
Hazy amber colour. Overpowering chalky texture that entirely masks any flavour beyond some bitterness. Pretty bad.

Cask, HP at The Hare and Billet, Blackheath, a couple of weeks ago. As ’Celt Experience Celt Silures’. Amber orange, clear, still, small foamy white head. Aroma is light with boiled sweets, gummy bears. Body is light, smooth with low carbonation. Taste is very soapy up front, floral, twiggy, some chlorine and bleach notes, apple. Very soapy and astringent to the extent of being undrinkable.

Light Amber, hazy with little head. Very slight pine aroma. First impression is that this is overly sweet for an IPA but backed up by some sharp bitterness & astringent pine. Not what I would call easy drinking & for me, too sweet for a session IPA... Rated by BrewTom

From bottle. Hazy yellow/gold, strong pine aroma + grapefruit, mango, apricot. Strong bitter taste, long finish, medium body.
Good, refreshing, proper ipa + lots of pines.

kokkenrolv (348) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 10, 2016
Bottle. Aroma is ripe fruits, some orange, pine, dms. Light golden, hazy, small white head. Light/medium sweetness, medium+ bitterness, taste is dominated by harsh bitterness, astringency, some pine. Light body, medium carbonation, astringency results in a very dry mouthfeel. Must be something wrong here.
