Bottle @ BeerBiker/Scheffel’s 100 countries celebration week (long time ago)
Bottle from Vicki bought in Tunesia, after a long fight. My first impression was holy shit and gave me the thoughts of hay, wet grass, poison and very hot sweaty skin.
Piwo pite w nieludzkich ilościach, jako przepitka do tunezyjskiej wódki. Wspomnień brak :) Marko (6107) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - NOV 7, 2017
Thanks Višnja and Goran! Poured a slightly hazy golden body with a huge head. Corky malty aroma, veggies and herbal notes. Smooth, sweetish taste, corny, lemony touch, very light bitterness. Classic tropical lager, not the worst, not the best. hrabren (1529) - Zagreb, CROATIA - NOV 7, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2017 0.5 l can brought by Višnja and Goran. Thanks. Shared with Marko and Matej. Clear golden, small off-white head. Malts, some citrus. Maybe not citrus, maybe sour malts. Very strong metallic flavour. Light body, high carbonation, metallic finish. Bad. Dean02494 (1) - Great Missenden, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 22, 2017 does not count
This draught lager is a lot better than most European and all American lagers. Light and refreshing for its native hot climate whilst not being worried about hoppiness, malty aftertones, chocolatey bouquets or a hint of gooseberries. Does it’s job exceedingly well and some pretentious beer reviewers would do better to get their heads out of their arses and just drink a beer for what it is. loscovar (727) - Trieste, ITALY, Villeneuvette, FRANCE - SEP 28, 2017
Bottle from a friend just went back from Tunis. Normal lager, ok malty taste
Psytron (2502) - Turku, FINLAND - SEP 19, 2017
Drunk from can. Smell of malt, starch. Aroma of malt, starch, some grassy notes. Basic bulk lager, but with a stronger-than-normal maltiness. Lively carbon, mildly bitter. midovark (1077) - Balassagyarmat, HUNGARY - JUL 15, 2017
0.24 l can as a gift from Tunisia. Pale yellow with no head. Suprisingly not the worst macro lager I’ve ever had. Sure, far from good, but expected worse. Eructoblaster (4391) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 16, 2017
Can - 24cl. Blond, slightly hazy piss-like body with an instantly fading white foamy head. Bland malty/hoppy aroma with flowery and corny hints. Its watery taste carries metallic and rotten herbs notes. Ends with a short, thin herbal finish. Boring. strap (966) - Sindelfingen, GERMANY - JAN 30, 2016
after 3 days in Tunisia staying in a dry district owned by the Saudis, I finally got my hands on the local piss water in the Tunis airport on my way out of country. drank in a 23cl can, slightly cool. this one wasn’t bad considering this was Tunisia’s piss lager. i’d say it’s better than some of the other beers in its category and i’d take it over a bud light or miller high life any day. beastiefan2k (4112) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - DEC 7, 2015
Bottle thanks to luttonm. Basically a cheaper version of Heiny. Very skunky. Makes sense.
