Bottle. Appearance: very clear golden orange with frothy white head. Aroma: big floral notes, some tangerine, grapefruit, and pine. Taste: mild floral hoppiness up front with a little citrus coming in and a light bread and toast backbone ending with some dry tea leaf and bitter pine. Mouthfeel: thinnish body with medium carbonation. Overall: It is decent. The aroma definitely sets up great expectations but the taste was quite a bit flat by comparison. It's a solid beginning for this new brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Craft 31 in Williamsburg. Deep clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruit and caramel. Bitterness is relatively light. Medium bodied and dry.

Can. Smells fresh and hoppy, with grass and citrus and forest on the nose. Palate is yielding, with a balanced toffee, cereal, malted quality to match the aggressive hopping. Almost drinks like an American version of ESB. Super.

Pours slightly hazy orange. Small off white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, mango. Taste is juicy, fruity, moderate bitterness on the finish. Very pleasant, presumably New England style IPA.

From the tap poured a copper color with a fair amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a lingering finish.

Hazy amber and copper coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grassy and very floral hops with a bit of a pine kick, some malt and earth and a little citrus and sugar scent as well - nice. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and very herbal hoppiness with a mellow, but noticeable malt backbone show through and leave this well balanced, if not dry and bitter from the hops, bu the sugars and fruit don’t really show through - this is all about those hops. Aftertaste shows some more grass and dry flavours, with a little perfume and resin noticeable as well. Overall, a well-structured beer that has some pleasant hop flavours, a nice balanced and a touch of subdued complexity that make this a decent to good IPA (from the East Coast). I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 03-February-2017 for US$2,49 at the end of my driveway, sampled at home in Washington on 26-February-2017.

Bar Louie tap. As usual all bars serve crafts too cold. Orange copper, light lacing. One of the most perfectly balanced IPAs ever, Aroma taste mouth feel and bitterness all adds up to almost five star.

Can from Total Wine. Pours mostly clear golden amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is amazingly tropical: mango all over, peach, ruby grapefruit. Flavor is also somewhat tropical with mango up front, toasted bread crust, peach, pine, and soap.

Got a can from DoG street bottleshop recommended by the shopkeeper. Can but still a nice head on a slightly cloudy amber body. Plenty of malt and almost like an ESB. Pine and lemon notes with aquite a bitter finish
