Cask gravity at 2014 GBBF. Unfiltered. Hazed golden colour with a thin off white head. Nose is grainy orange peel citrus, some resin. Flavour is biscuit malt with hint of toast, some grain tanin, hops ate orange citrus and quite harsh rough bitterness. Palate is grainy, moderate carbonation. Rough bitterness lingers.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2014. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is soft, sweet citrus....tangerine, mango, orange etc. The taste is bitter, soft, oily, orange peel, tangerine, mango, candy and straw with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. 12oz can. Looks amber. Aroma of floral and resinous and piney hops, some pale and caramel malts, and some dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. A decent pale ale.

Total Wine, Fairfax can: Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma is citrus and spice. Taste is similar. It is slightly bitter and all. Finish is pretty malty and sweet. Not my favourite kind of finish by a long-shot. Otherwise, the beer is perfectly drinkable.

Can at home. Pours clear amber with a small, frothy white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is fruity, floral and pine hops with pear esters and cookie malt. Flavor is medium hops and bitterness with light fruity esters, supporting sweet malt and a dry finish. Medium to light body and medium carbonation.
