This brew is a hazy golden color with a medium thin white head that recedes quickly to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of grapefruit, grassy hop and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short citrusy hop aftertaste. Slightly above average overall. Can from Peter Fowler of Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage fame, cheers Peter. Consumed at Truck Festival, Friday 17th July 2015 Lots of curly furry hops, gold in colour, lasting bitter bite. A damn decent US pale ale, lovely. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8 Strykzone (7309) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - MAY 10, 2015
12 ounce can received in a locals trade with nimbleprop. A bright orange with a one + finger head. Very cloudy. A fruity and malty aroma and that translates to the flavor. Citrus fruit, including grapefruit, dominate. A little spice in the after taste. Malts brought a bit of biscuits. I like it in a throwback kind of way. Aroma of pine, citrus and hops, pours an amber colour with a lasting white well laced head. Piney hop taste with a creamy feel and a dry chalky finish. bytemesis (8250) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAR 18, 2015
Tap. Pours crystal clear amber, small off white head, sine lacing. Aroma is light, a bit buttery, pine and a touch of citrus. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, lots of pine. Medium light body. A classic take that seems a bit stale.
