Oakes (19525) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 17, 2017
From the backlog. Light brown. Bit Hazy. Thin head. The aroma is molasses - rum barrel? - alcohol, nutmeg, cinnamon. Really appetizing nose. Sweet, spicy, light gourd, less barrel and a bit thin on the palate. Still, decent beer even if it’s not as good as the aroma promised.

bulldogops (2885) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 7, 2016
Rating #2265- 2015.12.18 - Beer #18 in the 2015 P49/Central City Craft Crossing Clear copper-amber pour, that produces a bubbly foam. Aroma is potent, lots of nutmeg, cinnamon, hint of allspice. Taste is malty, lots of sweet and grainy notes, and a heavy fleshy pumpkin flavour. Decent

2.4

Brown, small tan head.Vegetal nose of wood and alcohol.Spicy palate with sweet malt and alcohol.Notes of pine or spruce

2015 Parallel 49 and central city advent calendar. Pours reddish brown, frothy head. Aroma of root veg, booze. Taste is caramel, pumpkin/root veg, chocolate. Think pumpkin pie ale without the cinnamon and nutmeg added. Interesting.

sulawang (1216) - - JAN 4, 2016
Visual: Pours muddy nutty brown with an okay sized head, 1 mm micro layer of fine retention, many clusters of very fast streams. Nose: caramel malt, molasses, root beer. (lvl-5)-pungency Attack: cream-fizzy-full mouthfeel Mid-palate: immediate squash, micro-fizzy, (lvl-7)-sweetness, (MAIN) big caramel malts, root beer, roasted malts, sweet oak Finish: soft subtle hops, residual cola malt sweetness. Summary: Definitely my #1 favourite beer in the 2015 Craft Crossing Calendar. For some reason the big caramel flavour reminds me of my early tasting days when I had Japanese Sankt Gallen Stouts back in January of 2012. Impressive, though a tad sweet by the last sip.

3.4
pictoman (1260) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 3, 2016
Poured from 330mL bottle. Darkish orangey brown with beige head. Very similar to the pumpkin beer, but with less spice (cinnamon, nutmeg), subtle wood flavour.

3.4
Lagerboy (2239) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 2, 2016
330 ml bottle. Clear deep amber brown, tan foam settles quickly and lasts. Sweet malty aroma, brown sugar. Tastes like a rich sweet toasted pumpkin ale, some spices and molasses, caramel, toffee, vanilla, ABV is well hidden. Softer carbonation, medium bodied, low hopped. Enjoyable. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

3.9
DuffMan (10915) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 30, 2015
Bottle, craft beer advent calendar 2015. Medium brown with golden amber highlights and a creamy off white head. Aroma is bready and spicy with pleasant undertones of pumpkin and cocoa. The delivers the same, in pleasant balance with soft barrel traits adding a pleasant character. When I saw imperial pumpkin ale I cringed, but this ended up being highly enjoyable.

3.7
TimE (6347) - Tokyo, JAPAN - DEC 19, 2015
cloudy brown color squash and chocolate in the nose. Nice cinnamon squash flavor. Very interesting smooth and interesting

CC day 18! I’m actually pretty impressed with this beer... Cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg to balance the squash which is similar to pumpkin... Go figure. Complex and easy to drink!
