Clear light yellow with white head. Light grassy malt with mild skunk. Tastes like a basic lager. Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - JUL 1, 2015
This is am easily forgettable kolsch... Especially with the local Canada best scona gold available here. Pours a clear gold and after that this one’s a mess. Not clean and crisp like a kolsch should be but rather malty and yeasty. Yeast flavors are strong and taste old and stale. mcberko (17854) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 12, 2015
On tap at 12 Kings, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Nose brings out lots of graininess and a slight tartness. Flavour is clean, with lots of grains, none of the tartness thankfully. Nothing much to this. Clean and drinkable, but very forgettable. patricks110 (2496) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 26, 2012
Very pale pour with a delicately small white head. Grainy and bready nose with a bit of a grassy hop and floral aroma. A bit of sweetness, crisp flavor and bready throughout with a few grassy flavors. Overall, light, crisp but nothing incredible. fiulijn (20516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 25, 2012
Draught at the brewpub
Pale blond color, small head. Light aroma of malt. The mouthfeel is light and dry, allowing the delicate malt flavors to appear, with a mild crispy touch, and decent bitterness. Nice flavor, although some of the better German examples have some more malt and some grassy hops.
Never a big fan of Kölsch, but this is quite pleasant.
