Appearance- golden orange, clear body. Ample tan coloured head leaves nice lacing on the glass and a creamy film on top. Aroma- crack the can and you're hit in the face with a fistful o' hops. After pouring it opens up nicely. Floral, citric and pungent. Mouthfeel- medium body and carbonation. Nice feel and chewiness from the hop oils. Taste- grapefruits, pale malts, and a lingering bitter finish. Overall- top class IPA that I'd put up against any in the PNW. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

6.5%ABV. IPA. Poured out amber. 12SRM. Nose is grapefruit peel, citrus oil with a slightly spicy tang of cilantro and wild scallion. Overall, the sweet, tangy and spicy give it a character of "cat piss". You should in no way be detered by this description, it is inviting. 8/10. Mouthfeel is soapy. Palate has some nice Graham cracker, pie crusts and bread crusts, watered honey, juicy palate at the end reminiscent of orange juice or ripe tangerines. Hops are spicy with scallion on the front with a bit of broad funkiness, then pine, grass and finally a resinous bitter. Picture it like a cone and you get the idea, the flavor just becomes more focused as you go along. Finish is brief-medium with a nice back of the tongue lasting finish. Goes on Favorites List!

Super fruity aroma. Papaya, citrus, pear. Smells really good. Pours a hazy orange-yellow with an off white super foamy head that leaves a thick residue on the glass and a foamy layer on top of the beer. Medium bodied. Starts with a soft mouthfeel and finished with a crisp bitter edge. Lots of fruit. Lots of citrus. A hint of pine. A hint of dank. This is a really nice beers.

12/25 from Double Blind IPA tasting. Growler, copper in colour. Light nose with tea and herbal aspects. Way too bitter for my liking. Placed 15th

Deep golden color with a tall beige head. Citric and piney hops dominate the aroma, but some lightly toasted malt is found in the background. Pine sweetness in the front. Some orange citrus in the middle. Soft, oily, slightly sticky feel. Good balance throughout. Nicely done. 3/11

Huge glossy billowing long lasting thick head on top of a slightly hazy deep golden body. Good slicy piny hop nose. Great firm backbone. Chewy oily spicy hop pineyness on the palate which develops and envelops through to the end and aftertaste. World class.

Apple, pine, caramel in aroma - some tropical fruit sweetness (mango?) in the mix as well. Translucent cidery brown-orange body with pillowy head. Floral bitter character is very strong and kicks in very early, threatening to overpower some of the fruitier traits, but dissipates to a tolerable level midway in. Picking up a caramel apple sweetness to counteract the bitter bomb. A light mineral bitterness lingers in the finish. Nice grainy malt in there as well. Not the easiest drink, but a very nice IPA.

Can from beer of the month club. Goes under red Betty name. Nose and body are all hops. Pine feel is weird and a bit off. Not a great or good or average ipa. Kinda disappointed.
