3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On cask at the Alibi Room. Pours a murky golden orange with a small off white head. Aroma almost exclusively of jasmine and green tea. Flavour The green tea and jasmine well worked into the baser beer. Some fruitiness newly present also. .Well balanced, pleasantly bitter. Turned out better than I was expecting when I ordered it. Great summer patio beer!
On cask at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma screams of jasmine and green tea, drowning out the hops. Flavour expertly incorporates the green tea and jasmine into the already great base Red Racer IPA, along with some noticeable fruity notes which aren’t present in the base. Great balance between the bitterness and green tea / jasmine. Finishes slightly bitter, with the green tea quite prominent. Excellent experiment - hope they do this version more.
