Pours a clear amber with an orangish tinge and a nice smooth frothy and lacey white head. Aroma of citrus hops, grapefruit, tropical fruits and candy. Taste is sweet pale malts, tropical fruits, citrus and a bit of bitter grapefruit hops on the finish. Finishes semi dry with a punch of tropical fruits, nice easy drinking apa. Would like a little more malt to balance all the hop flavor.

Gold body and white head emits promising fresh hops w/ citrus and pine. Plays into taste with a fruity-pale malt sweetness and bacbone of dry-bittter hops plus some aromatic hop detail of pine grapefruit grass and herb garden. Sweet solid palate balanced with bitter, long finish is dry-sweet-bitter. All there yet the IPA wins the race by miles - more aromatics and prefer the balance.

Part of their mixed 6-pack, summer sampler 2013 at the LCBO. The first time I had this pack, I thought this was their IPA, which I already had and had the same colour of can. After chugging them, I had to buy this pack again - which is no problem, as these are pretty good. Pours a golden-amber colour with a big frothy warm cap, great retention and foamy lace. Not completely filtered with tiny particles everywhere. Great citrus aromas of oranges, grapefruits and then, other tropical fruits. The hop is the main thing in the taste as well, just covering the grainy malt. Mildly dry finish, so a normal Pale Ale, but has everything needed here. Goes down very well.

Can. Light amber colour with white foamy head. Peachy, tangerine aroma with some maltiness. Light body, fruity flavour with some dryness. Lemony citrus and a bitter finish. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can: Poured a copper color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light citrus notes with light dry caramel malt notes. Taste is a mix of citrus malt with some biscuit malt with dry finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Easy drinking with well balanced sweetness thought hops punch is missing.

355 mL bottle. Copper-brown with a small white head. Nice looking beer. Mild aroma of citrus hops and biscuity malt. Mild, balanced, drinkable flavour. Not a lot of bitterness. The IPA and ESB from these guys are fantastic, the pale ale decent, and the white and pilsner just passable.

This is a great basic pale ale! Nose is tropical fruit with some pine. Arômes are médium fruity, some biscuit, lots of pine. Tastes are light sweet and medium to heavy bitter. Long lasting dry aftertaste. Body is light-medium with lively carbonation.

probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 25, 2013
355 ml can in a mixed pack from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear deep golden with a fair white head. Aroma: Rich tropical fruits, citrus, light resin/pine notes, a little dusty, decent biscuity/caramel malt support, quite nice. Palate: Medium body, sparse yet prickly effervescence. Flav.: Citrus, fruity hops, biscuit, bread crust, a little pine/resin, nice; dry with good bitterness and a pleasant, lightly fruity hop finish.

Another nice beer from Central City!
